Douglas County-Washington State
This house along with several barns and sheds was found along Highway 2 east of Waterville, Washington. The house and all buildings have been taken down.
Now that's a stretch! This cool conehead was perfectly balanced between two leaves and looked just about like a connecting stem. Sword-bearing coneheads are specialized katydids and can sing a pretty loud raspy tune as dusk turns into night.

for this year, at least. Probably the most successful and inexpensive garden purchase I've ever made. It was £4.99 (OK, £5.00) from my local Asda. It was all dry and weak, but it's grown from strength to strength over the years.

In order to prepare the new season with several exhibition projects and dance shows, but also to enjoy the summer, I will not post any more images until the end of August.

A Volvo sits rusting in an old car lot. I think it was a wonderful emerald green when it was new. Now it needs buffed and waxed.

There are so many factors that contribute to the colors of the sunset over the ocean. My preference is the ones that are softer, in more pastel shades. This moment was captured seconds after the sun no longer was visible using a long exposure with movement. The flocks of birds are a common sight at this glorious hour. It's as if they were gone for the day and now at sunset know it's time to head home. I never tire of this experience, and it's the perfect ending to any day.
Weather
I don’t think I’ve posted different weather conditions before. So here are lots of rain; snow; clouds; The Moon; rainbows; fog and mist and other stuff all coming your way every now and then.
I'm still awestruck when I think of all the places we stood at last year. And now it is clear that we are going to Scotland for the third time in October. The second time was actually just a city trip to Edinburgh. So this is actually the second real trip. It will be short, but this time our son accompanies us and this may be one of the last adventures with him. Before he begins to pass his own. Therefore we will certainly visit some places where we were last time. Like the Quiraing on the Isle of Skye.
