Meet the newest member of my pinhole camera family! Takes 4x5 film holders. 76 mm focal length. I designed this one with a deeper focal length to accommodate the shutter. Pinnelope's focal length was too shallow and 1/2 the image was cut off by the shutter.

Finally, some proper pictures of my newest arrival! Vivi was gracious enough to allow me to adopt her Paris Vainilladolly, Nieve, last month, but I haven't posted any proper pictures of her yet, because I'm just so far behind in photo edits. I did post a photo of her modelling a jacket a few weeks ago, but that's no way to introduce a doll!
I may want to change her name to Sammy, but I'm not so sure about it yet...

I mentioned the other day that I had a welcomed home an old friend to my camera bag...here it is. "No, not the kitty...the lens that took this shot". LOL! I purchased a Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8 AF-S, a lens which I had previously owned from 2007-2011 before selling it because I wasn't using much. But as soon as I sold it I was missing it, and I had bought a bunch of other glass trying to replace this lens. Well, the other glass is now on eBay to offset the purchase and then some.
Now about this kitty... Joey had been wanting a kitty for some time now, and by happenstance my wife and Joey ran into a lady who used to work at one of the daycare's he attended when he was 3-4. She had a kitten that she thought would be perfect for him. So we went over to her house today and the lady was right, the little 9 week old kitty was PERFECT, and then we saw this little lady. She was a rescue kitty that was found on the side of the road. She was so young when she was found that her eyes weren't even opened yet. The vet thought that she wouldn't make it through the night, but she did! I am not sure how many weeks old she is, but she fits in one of my hands. She adopted me, so both kitties came home with us.
I could not endure the big spongy Grab-On foam grips which I had recently fitted for long. An easy switch was these inexpensive "Track" grips which I chose specifically because they were open at each end. They came with separate plastic end plugs which were of course not needed in this case. These still insulate from the cold sufficiently. Length around 175mm.
These grips are commonly available in a wide spectrum of colors [lighter colors get dirty easily, but will usually wash off well with dish soap and a toothbrush] . Some similar grips have one end of the rubber molded closed to form an integrated handlebar plug. I find these fully open tube style grips more versatile and the cost of a pair is always low unless you really must have a fancy name brand product (such as Yoshida Champ Keirin racing approved grips). I paid only around $8.50 USD with shipping, purchased from a familiar and always reliable US seller on eBay "ABAXO" with arrival in only 3 days.

My newest doll's clothes (The mistery man one XD) have arrived and, since he's going to share the same size of Mail, I let him try them on...well...I think it's just a pity Mail wasn't born in Edo's period too. He would have been an ambited samurai! XD Ahahah!

because I really cannot be bothered with buses at the moment I've been busy with new projects including producing this, a button box for my truck simulator games.
The box and buttons were designed and 3d printed by me and the components sourced from various places.
Despite my shaky hands I will be soldering 65 tiny wires to the switches which will be a challenge in itself....
