This was the first "real" camera I ever used. Before this I had a Kodak disc (yes, we are going back a bit) plenty of disposable cameras, and I believe one or two other cameras, just can't remember. This was my dad's camera which has been shipped over to me here in NZ. The funny bit. This was taken with my Nikon :) Thanks Dad and Mom!!
20-5582 was the newest jet with the 495th at the time of the photograph. Two more have since arrived.

The newest Leyland Atlantean to be operated by Rossendale Transport, 130 was a late-model Greater Manchester 'standard' dating from June 1994 and had arrived in the fleet along with a similar vehicle in August 1997. This September 1999 view just inside West Yorkshire sees the former GM South 4752 descending Bacup Road towards Cloughfoot whilst on an afternoon school journey.

Just acquired by the collection is a vehicle familiar to many who have attended open days at King Street Depot over the years or from Slains Castle many years back. It is hoped to have it back on the road for the next open day at Alford.
here is our newest member to our ponds. I am somewhat sure this is a young Bullfrog, or maybe it could be a green Frog. I have both in our ponds. He or she was a tadpole for the last 2-3 last year. The way I look at it I must be doing something right with my ponds.

She is a sweet thing but not near as forgiving as my upright bass. If you play her well she can really sing but if you are a little off, it sends the dogs running for the hills.

One of my newest pieces A Space Patrol found object sculpture flown by Fink Agent 729. Made from a vintage boat motor gas tank, 60's auto seats side trim plates, Studebaker emblem and vintage microphone for the grill, old van interior lights for head lights, BBQ gas grill parts for the engine exhaust pipes, bicycle head light with a cut down 1960 chevy tail light for the rear light, Part of a ballerina toy for the bubble shield with a 50's chrysler headlight ring for the bubble trim, Electrolux vacuum cleaner parts, antique wood burner top and clothes rack ring for the base, and other odds and ends.
I've had the dolls for awhile but just got around to taking pics. Both of them probably need to be re-root. Poor Polly has such thin hair on the top (and virtually no poodle curls) and Wendy's hair may actually be self distructing. I barely touch the comb to her hair and a weird ball of hair comes out. Perhaps she was a cat in a previous life and she is creating a fur ball all over again.
