made in Belarus - newest BKM 321 The Olgerd trolleybus passes by square at Finlyanskiy railway station of St Petersburg
in 2024-2025, BKM Holding will deliver 79 new trolleybuses of model 321 of the Olgerd series to St. Petersburg. Last year, Gorelektrotrans received 97 trolleybuses with an increased autonomous range of up to 20 kilometres, model 32100D. In the new ordered series 321 ‘Olgerd’ instead of a compartment with batteries - 5 seating passenger seats, 35 in total, so the reduction of autonomous travel to 250 m contributed to an increase in passenger capacity up to 96 people. The model for St. Petersburg is equipped with various options, including not only USB ports, video cameras, multimedia system, climate control, but also ‘Warm Floor’, ‘Talking City’, driver wakefulness monitoring system and other useful sensors. LED interior lighting and signal lines at the doors are used. The current collectors are equipped with an automatic boom catching system and a system of automatic placement on the catenary network, which does not require the driver to leave the vehicle. In the present trolleybus also you can see additional seat in the driver's cabine for an instructor.
History of BKM Holding
Olgerd trolleybuses are produced by the Belarus company Belkommunmash (BKM; Производственное Объединение «Белкоммунмаш», БКМ). BKM was organized in 1973 on the basis of the streetcar and trolleybus repair shop under the Ministry of Municipal Economy of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic. During the first two decades the plant was repairing trolleybuses and streetcars of Minsk. After USSR breakage the independent Belarus got a strong incentive to develop its own vehicles production. Therefore a few articulated trolleybuses YMZ T1 (ЮМЗ Т1) were assembled at the plant in 1993 from engineering sets of Yuzhny Machine Building Plant of Ukraine. The enterprise also modernized trolleybuses of the ZIU models 100 - 101 produced by the Engels Electric Transportation Plant (later CJSC "TrolZa") in Engels, Saratov region of Russia. Later the company started to develop its own trolleybus models, the first model AKSM 201 (АКСМ 201) appeared in 1996, followed by models 213, 221, 321 (as in foto) and 333. Since 2000 the production of streetcars started: AKSM-1M, AKSM-60102. In 2016, the production of electric buses has been organized. Today the BKM Holding (ОАО «Управляющая компания холдинга «Белкоммунмаш» - ОАО «УКХ «БКМ) is the leading industrial enterprise in Belarus in the field of production and overhaul of rolling stock of urban electric transport.
This is my newest bow I made.. I'm still playing with the technique. I am thinking of making some smaller ones that blythe can wear on the side of her head, but am not too sure yet. Input appreciated!

Wow! That was a good year. To be completely honest, it never hits me how much Superhero minifigures I actually have until December 28th every year—it’s really the only time I dump out the bags, mix em’ together, and get everyone ready for an extremely long photo-shoot. My awe is no doubt related however to my recent acquisition of the newest DC wave; with so many characters I’ve only dreamed of owning; which only makes this year’s photo more special.

Here are some fun quick facts about this photo and my collection!
--Compared to last year’s grand total of 104 minifigures, this year my collection has grown to 161—an increase of 57 minifigures (more than 50%) over last year’s total. So far there has been an annual increase of over 50% in my Superhero collection—hopefully that doesn’t end anytime soon!
--There are 152 official minifigures shown here in addition to ten custom minifigures by five different customizers. And although this is a lot of figures, it's not actually all of the Superheroes I own—for some figures I have duplicates, and in other extreme cases such as the 2012 versions of Batman (Black Suit), Joker, and Spider-Man I have multiple duplicates; sometimes as much as five.
--Other increases can be seen in my Big-Figure department, where the total increased from one in 2013 to five this year. The amount of Black Mantas present also increased by a whopping one.
--The oldest minifigures shown here, those from the original Spider-Man line, date back to 2002 (Back when Superhero skin was yellow!); while the newest minifigures, those of the new Justice League themed Batman wave, are from December 2014. A difference of twelve years!
--When we divide up the grand total, we find that 103 minifigures belong to the DC Universe while only 58 belong to the Marvel Universe. This disproportionate number is indeed related to the Batman 1 line, which added many more figures to the DC line (The original Spider-Man line too adds figures to the Marvel side, but it does not nearly constitute the same affect). Custom minifigures are also disproportionate—only two of the ten customs present belong to the Marvel Universe.
--More than half of the minifigures shown here can be found in creations I have built—and that number is only going to increase as I start builds for 2015.

As I received my MFL and GI Brick order this week, I thought I'd show you all what I've been working on. Gunmetal is one of the hardest BA colours to work with, as any marks you make are permenant. Also, My camera makes these look messy, When IRL they are fairly clean.

The newest double decker in the Reliance fleet is Volvo B7TL Plaxton President LK03 NHP, their first President. New to First Capital North in the VNL class as 32313 (VNL32313) it later passed to Go-Ahead London General and became PVL3 yet retained the London version of the First Willowleaf ('Barbie') livery. Seen as no longer required within the group, it was sold and purchased by Reliance and was initially only for school services. It has now gained LED destination equipment which seems to mean this is now part of the fleet for normal service use, and is seen here at York Exhibition Square running the PM peak 40 service to Easingwold and Crayke

This sign is an art installation that was part of the Bombay Beach Biennale art festival. The artist's goes by the name MIDABI. MIDABI is a SoHo born artist focused on large-scale sculptural text. Early in his life he established a deep commitment to divergent acts in hopes of attaining uncommon insight into the nature of reality. His core practice is a public, monolithic, monumental sculpture or mural utilizing the power of scale and bold design. The works compose his esoteric ideas into a visual art as a means of sharing information with a large, diverse audience.
Recently, a much larger version of this sign was installed in New York's Union Square. Union Square Partnership in partnership with The Resin Collection welcomed our newest piece of public art, MIDABI’s “The Only Other” to our neighborhood! The large-scale steel piece will be in the Triangle Plaza for the next year as part of the New York City Parks Department Art in the Parks program, and will be on display for one year. The sign seen here - at Bombay Beach in California - will remain on display indefinitely.

My youngest daughter, Andrea, gave birth to this perfect little boy today. It was a long night of labor and then still needing a c-section in the end, but she did great !! I can't wait to meet him, my 6th grandchild. I have my Amtrak ticket for March 24th to travel 1250 miles to Georgia to visit them for a week and meet Henry. Can't wait !!

New Fashionista! While I was hoping for my must-have girl with the beauty mark to come out next, this girl is my 2nd must-have. She's beautiful but her hair is a mess in the box! I had to redo her bun but some strands of hair are to short to be pulled back. I really missed the Asha face sculpt! She is lovely!
Phoenix is my newest-to-me doll, although not my newest by production year. She was my birthday present from my husband and myself last month. I don't know much about her yet, but I do know that she likes D&D.

This is my last big project in this house that we're remodeling. Stenciling the floor in a breezeway that will be kind of like an inside patio. It will be a great space in the heat of summer because it stays cool and in the winter time, the glorious light that streams thru the glass doors will be a welcome sight. This is only 2 days work so I'm going to be here awhile.

Some testing of these cheap paints I recently bought. Not bad. Kind of creamy texture though. Not to mention it lasts longer to dry. Perhaps another try on canvas. I think I'll stick with acrylics.
