I hooked up one of my xBee boards to my Netgear wgt634u wireless router. At the moment, it can talk just fine to my terrorism threat level alerter, however I want to eventually use it as a more generalized ethernet to zigbee bridge.
If you are looking for the best router in 2012 for your home or small office then visit TheProductSite.com (www.theproductsite.com) for expert friendly advice that will explain to you which wireless router is the best for your needs. The Product Site aims to help customers find the best wireless routers for them by offering a needs-oriented shopping experience.
The Product site also offers a range of router articles, router reviews, and router tips to guide shoppers on finding the right type of router and ISP for them for streaming TV shows (BBC iPlayer, Netflix, 4OD), downloading films (Bit torrent, IRC, Newsgroups) or online gaming needs (Xbox360, PS3, Wii).
Wirelss monitor for Wirelsss N Network attached as adaptor (antenna) to my home system PC displays my network (HAL) and a neighbor's. Periodically a Dietschler Wireless is also there. These diaplay a KEY graphic which indicate that I am excluded from there newtork - which my PC does not seek to join. My network displays a circling arrows graphic which indicates that I am connected to it.
The B G & N indicate the capacity and speed of the network. My Router supplies a 150 MBPS signal of 96% quality dB; and alternates channels (microfrequencies) on the 2.4GHZ radio frequency according to radio interference. The wireless permits me to operate and connect to the internet w/o a wire connecting to the COMCAST modem - allowing me to move a computer away from a wire connection to another room.
The NETGEAR ROUTER WNR 1000 v2 is suplied by COMCAST at no charge; and it and the PC wirelsss adaptor both have firewalls which bar penetration by SCANS unwanted joinders etc.
Only a computer response by me at the PC permits another computer wirelss connection to the network. COMCAST's "gateway" household internet connection also is firewalled and requires special security to use the COMCAST ISP for the WWW.
Periodically "N" networks wirelss will bounce off each other as they adjust their spacing in neighborhoods & apartments. The range is approxiamtely 300 ft & 150 feet through walls depending on sensitivity of equipment.
A furhter demo of the excellent wireless combo is available at www.airlink.com (cf the AirLink 101 PCI Adaptor) & www.netgear.com (see home Routers WNR 1000 v2). Comcast's cost to you is shipping charge only if you are a COMCAST BroadBand customer.
This connection is my home system only; not a general public service node.
Found this guy on the back of an old Netgear (Bay Networks) network interface card. Does anybody know his history?
Discovered that this is the Netgear Man. The design was sometimes found on their products, and there was an inflatable Netgear Man for tradeshow booths.
The 802.11ac is a brand new standard is yet to enter the router market. It was specifically created to improve the 802.11n connection and take full advantage of the 5 Ghz band. This means that will be especially suitable for users wanting to take full advantage of HD media interms of streaming HD films, videos and games.
Undoubtedly, 802.11n routers provide the fastest speeds and the best signal ranges. However, these routers tend to be more expensive.

Step 7: Open the floodgates of your wireless Router to the sinful Internet smut that will pour into your house, make sure to wear rubber gloves and ear plugs! Before you do this, move the Router from your Studio to your Living room in a painful procedure involving disconnecting kilometers of cables, swallowing tons of dust and the occasional lethal tiger attack...almost done now!

Jeremy loves his Canon. And that means he’s spent a lot of money recently on L lenses (Canon lenses with a red ring around them. The barrel on the them is usually white). Actually I think he spent more money than me on photography in the last year. That’s saying something.
He let me play with his new 30D with a battery grip for portraits. Here he is right before I borrowed his camera, swapping out the lenses for me.
But after shooting it, I just explained to the others on why Canon sucks.
Why? Because the shutter doesn’t sound like my Nikon. :-D
Then I launched into the blind/deaf golfer story to prove my point.
God, I kill myself.
I used the black and white and then masked in the L lens indicator. I also cropped it so that subjects sat closer to opposing thirds. Trying to start a new "look" for Lunch 2.0 photography: CHLomo!
We live in a world that is run by technology and why won’t that be, development and advancement are like synonyms of technology. But in this tech era, nothing is plausible without a strong wifi network and ‘Netgear’ was the first to introduce the world’s fastest wireless router. Name a home that does not have like a ton of appliances taking their breaths on a wifi network, net gear provides the best options to satisfy every home’s networking needs
About The Product Site (www.theproductsite.com):
The Product Site is currently the most reliable and the friendliest source for wireless routers online. They currently specialize in wired and wireless routers and are therefore not connected to any of the ISPs in the UK. Thus, they are able to provide trusted, reliable, and unbiased reviews on these Internet connection providers. The site also offers a range of router articles, router hints and tips, and blogs to guide shoppers on finding the right type of router and ISP for their streaming TV shows (YouTube, Netflix, Vimeo, BBC iPlayer), downloading HD films (Bittorrent, IRC, Newsgroups) or online gaming needs (PC, Xbox360, PlayStation3, Nintendo Wii).

If you actually showed up on time, then next ot your seat was a Netgear apron that said: “NETGEAR: Cooking up your Network.” I showed up late so I didn’t get one :-( I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with the apron I got at home.
It reads: “DANGER: Men cooking.”
Here is a rare instance where my bad aperture setting turned out to be a good thing. The text is easy to read but everything else is pleasantly blurred. I took a shot of Jeremiah’s apron because I thought strangers might be uncomfortable if I went in for a “boob shot.” Shit that makes me look halfway talented.
I didn’t crop this shot because I think it has a nice balance and contrast. I suppose I could crop a little 5-10% off the right. Trying to start a new "look" for Lunch 2.0 photography: CHLomo!

Okay, maybe not bare - quite advanced actually. Behind the door of the white panel is an array of network patch panels and switches (shown in other pic of this set). The network services are powered by the Linksys router and Clearwire Modem shown to just to the right of the white enclosure. The server is a Dual-Core Opteron 270 with 4gb of ram and a 4x 250gb RAID10 array; why so fancy you ask? This server sports the terminal server that all of the employees log into to run their proprietary applications. All of this is powered by an APC 1500VA battery backup UPS.

In the lobby bathroom on the campus of a certain technology firm in the Pacific Northwest, a Netgear box is repurposed as a pad dispenser
This was a poorly used coat & bed sheet closet.
The previous owners installed a security system in this closet, but then ripped most of it out later; so the box was useless. We took out the security system box, bound up all the wires and put them in a double gang box with a blank cover -- just incase their needed for something later.
Put a double gang box for electrical at the bottom, and added a light in the ceiling.
Ran conduit through the wall for the ethernet to run through, and ran twine to make it easier to run more cat5e in the future.
