I replaced this broadband router a few years ago and it's been languishing in its box, just taking up space, ever since. It's time to move it on to someone who's actually going to use it.
The UK-spec RangeMax comes in its original box (still with original shrink-wrap), including original packaging and documentation. It is in almost-perfect condition (with no obvious scratches or signs of use other than a little dust) and was working just fine when last used. It comes with:
- Original UK power supply
- Base stand
- Phone cables
- Resource CD version 2.2
- ADSL filter
- Original manuals and paperwork

I'd been trying to get Mady's old router to work since I started getting tired of stealing faulty internet.
Her router's gone boo-boo so I bought this cheap-ass $50 Netgear router instead... I wanted to buy a good one, but since we're just in a small studio, we don't really need a good one quite yet.
Then I saw a $250 router that runs on the 3G network and I almost peed my pants, I wanted it so bad. Basically, I can go anywhere and access my own wireless internet from anywhere with that router!
Again, Mady talked me out of it because I use my phone as my wireless modem and I don't *really* need it. Pluse, $250 is almost my car payment.

Gateway Performance 1600 cl. 1.6ghz pentium 4 512mb[128mb*4] RD RAM 13gb Hard Drive 64mb ati raedon video card diamond souncard netgear 10/100 networking card netgear wireless pci card 54mb/s cdrw drive floppy drive running windows xp home retail version. (i know this comp aint that serious in specs but its pretty amazing from when i got it) I got this computer for 5 dollars maybe 10 at the most yeah i said 5 or 10 dollars it came with the processor mobo cdrw drive and floppy drive ram was 128mb[64mb*2] no hd came with graphics no sound networkin and no os wow! so i had it running ubuntu on 256mb ram then i said the hell with it lets make it 512 throw in a retail version of xp and some networking a harddrive and boom shakalaka there we go a nice internet/productivity computer.

This is a night shot of my Netgear WDNR3700, running DD-WRT. When processing photos at night, I'll see it twinkling out of the corner of my eye.
Lightly processes with Camera+, added a little blur and pumped the saturation up a smidge.
Briefly considered buying one of these Cisco routers. For the right reasons (because I've already maxed out the Netgear switch in my office) and the wrong ones (because I've got Verizon coming to my house next week to upgrade my broadband, and the installer probably would appreciate a change of pace).
If I could have borrowed someone's Thinking Machine just for the morning, I would have.

My opinion: "One of the best routers on the market, working with two bands, the signal is very good even for large distances. Excellent option to sync Apple TV External HD or even share one printer. For those who like games, great choice to play wireless or wired on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. "
