A vintage (mid to late 1920's) Nash in Keremeos, B.C. The Nash Motor Company was founded in 1916 and operated as that company until 1937.

From 1937 until the early 1950's the company ran under the name of Nash - Kelvinator after merging with the Kelvinator Corporation. The vehicles produced still bore the Nash name. In 1954the company acquired the Hudson Motor Car Company which lead to the founding of American Motors Corporation.

John Nash made the circular cantilevered staircase almost a trait of his work. Many of his earlier houses have such schemes in them, as do his later villas and designs. One of these which is particularly interesting for us here at Attingham is the staircase Nash designed for his own home on the Isle of Wight, East Cowes Castle.

My first image of the Welsh Sphinx at Nash Point. One of the reasons why I enjoy Flickr so much are to visit scenes like this and endeavour to bring my skills up to the level of my flickr friends. Still a long way to go, yes, but what an enjoyable journey. Thank you.

The red dots at the top where from an airplane. I thought they were cool, should I have removed them?

The first model in the postwar Rambler line was the convertible, because Nash knew they couldn't sell them cheap so they had to make them appear to be upscale. When they decided to build the even smaller Metropolitan it would have to be built in Europe because it just cost too much to make small cars in North America. Rambler did pretty well and we still see a lot of these at car shows.
