The Nash 600 was manufactured by the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation of Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the model years 1941 to 1949, after which the car was renamed the Nash Statesman. The Nash 600 was positioned in the low-priced market segment. The '600' name comes from the car's ability to go 600 miles (970 km) on one tank of petrol. Introduced for the 1941 model year, the Nash 600 became the first mass-produced unibody constructed car built in the United States.

This arrangement of Garlic Parachutes put me in mind of Paul Nash and his Wood on the Downs. And no I haven't been on the Psilocybins.

A couple more shots from the 2023 Des Moines Concours d'Elegance. This is a very rare example of a beautifully restored sports car that was powered by an inline 6 cyl Nash engine, with body work by the UK firm Austin Healey. The lines are remarkably clean and elegant when compared to the retro styling of the much more popular MG TC and TD of the same era.

A classic, souped up for show. It still goes out for runs to tour the countryside when the owners visit auction sales and autumn fairs.

Nash Point lighthouses, the 'high light' is shown near right, the foghorn building centre-left with the remains of the 'low light' behind it. The extensive complex also includes keeper accommodations and early radio facilities. Some of the buildings are now holiday lets and weddings are hosted here.

The Nash 600 is an automobile that was manufactured by the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation of Kenosha, Wisconsin for the 1941 through 1949 model years, after which the car was renamed the Nash Statesman. The Nash 600 was positioned in the low-priced market segment. The "600" name comes from the car's advertised ability to go 600 miles (970 km) on one tank of gasoline.
