Another one from the archives, of a night when I was the first and only person to get around Nash Point on a dropping tide. the freshly exposed rock layers were still glistening from the tide as the setting sun coloured up the cliffs and clouds. I can't wait to experience these special moments the world can give us again. Times Like These is by Foo Fighters and I think I'll have a go at singing it today after my breakfast disco :))) Perhaps I;l get the children next door who sit on the wall and keep me company to join in on the chorus ;)))

I went for a walk at Nash Point Lighthouse yesterday afternoon not realising quite how strong the wind would be! I was hoping for some long exposure shots but I think my tripod would have taken off !!!

I was really happy with my composition (in camera); feels good to keep learning! The car on the tilted ledge, background skyline, and generally the way this draws your eye through and around the photo is another learning point of pride for me as I am developing the planning plus mechanics of taking nice pix. Plus finding this 50–55-year-old Nash Metropolitan in the wilds of Northern Idaho was fun!

Nash Point is a headland and beach in the Monknash Coast of the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales, about a mile from Marcross. It is a popular location for ramblers and hiking along the cliffs, as well as a “must do” on the photographers’’ to-do list

A rocky wave-cut platform peppered with pools and gullies covers the bay lies at the base of a sphynx-like rocky headland that positively glows in the golden hour when the sun is out

So I have pulled my Aesthetic avi out dusted him off and giving him a make over. Not sure how often I will wear him though?

Don't see one of these every day.

At the 2018 Back to the Fifties car show.

The Nash 600 was manufactured by the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation of Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the model years 1941 to 1949, after which the car was renamed the Nash Statesman. The Nash 600 was positioned in the low-priced market segment. The '600' name comes from the car's ability to go 600 miles (970 km) on one tank of petrol. Introduced for the 1941 model year, the Nash 600 became the first mass-produced unibody constructed car built in the United States.

This yellow 1947 Nash 600, VSJ 290, drew a lot of attention near the entrance gate to Sywell Classic on 25th September 2022.
