The Metropolitan was also marketed as a Hudson model when Nash and Hudson merged in 1954 to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC). The Nash and Hudson lines were phased out in favor of the Rambler line, and in 1957, the Metropolitan became a standalone brand and was badged with a stylized 'M' on hubcaps and grille.

View from Monknash looking SE across the point towards N Devon coast and the Quantock Hills. The low light can been seen on the headland, this forms a leading line with the higher light ( not visible in this image) when viewed from the SE. Following the line of the two lights or keeping south of the line steered ships south of the deadly Nash Sands. The lights are 300m apart and there is foghorn between the two, just visible to the left of this image.

A reproduction I'm sure. On display at the Nash Farm in Grapevine, TX

My OH and I had a rare sunny afternoon over the Christmas period so made a trip to Nash Point. Taken in strong late afternoon light

There are so many small towns around her that are surviving simply on the agriculture industry. Nash has no gas station, no grocery store, just the grain elevator and a population of THIRTEEN to keep it going. Some towns are smaller than Nash. Sad really.

I stumbled upon this old photograph taken with a Kodak point n' shoot in around 2010. The location is Nash Point near Marcross on the Monknash Coast in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

I rather like the picture. The coast is great for walks in this area.

This Nash shows up for a lot of the classic car events in the area.

Always one of the best on display.

Wellies required for this shot, it was also blowing a gale and it was very difficult to keep the tripod steady, anyone that knows me will how big and heavy the Benbo 2 tripod is!

Taken at Nash Point in South Wales.

Natures own soft focus filter (sea spray, even at the top of the cliffs, it was that windy) I had discarded this image on first review and I only processed it through boredom yesterday and I actually quite liked the soft focus effect
