The theme for this weeks Macro Mondays is My Daily Routine.

The very first thing I do when I get up every morning, is take my vitamins. I take them when I get up so as not to forget, therefore this qualifies as a routine.

I take two vitamins, a D3 capsule, and a "mature" multivitamin. Apparently my age is what qualifies me to take the mature vitamin. I guess I am old relatively speaking. I don't feel that old, but I don't feel that young either.

Physically I am doing alright, not requiring any medications daily. And mentally I'm probably average for my age. Although when I read what I just wrote about how I might forget to take my vitamins were it not for this routine I realize that I probably am old.

I am not dead yet. I'm feeling better, I think I'll go for a walk.

HMM.

"My Daily Routine" for Macro Mondays

First thing in the morning is enjoying my coffee. Of course, I use a normal cup... ;)

Concerning the MM rules: this is a real coffee bean, the cup is less then 1.5 cm.

Happy Macro Monday. My daily routine includes looking at the photos of people I follow and choosing favorites. Taken with iPhone 6s.

For Day 100 I decided to get brave and take a picture right after coming out of the shower. This is a shot of me uploading that photograph from my camera and cropping into the image on my laptop. A picture within a picture.

100 pictures, 1 a day, every day. I'm surprised I stuck with it so far. I didn't think I'd make it past day 50 but it simply became a part of my daily routine. Just like brushing my teeth, taking a shower and eating dinner.

A lot has happened over the past 100 days of my life.

My father returned from Iraq, I went to Las Vegas on Halloween, witnessed my good friend getting married, I celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family for the first time in over 4 years, We moved into a new flat and bought a car. It's the 20th day of the New Year. Thanks to this photo project every day is documented.

It's not just the act of opening up and offering everyone a window into your existance, but it's creating a photographic personal history to reflect on later in life. I've even made new friends along the way.

Thank you to everyone that has come along for the journey so far

and Thank you to those that shared their own daily life through pictures for me to view.

I'll keep it up if you will

265 days to go....

Day 100 of 365 days

Day 3652 Y10D364

This is it, this is day 3652, 10 years of daily Lego photos. I was 34 when I started this on February 25, 2011, my son was only 3 months old. Now I’m 44 and he is 10. It been tedious, boring, thought provoking, problem solving, idea storming and fun all at the same and different times. I have appreciated all the likes, follows and the interactions that have come of this project. It has become part of my daily routine, part of my life and has led me to see the world in a different way. My photography has changed and improved, as has my thought process.

Where do I go from here? I’m not sure. For now, keep following me here and on Instagram at kevinmboots77

This isn’t good bye, this is until we see each other again.

Fancy high-tech toothbrush for the Macro Mondays group, theme “My Daily Routine.” For my daily routine at least I get to brush my teeth inside my mouth instead of taking them out of a glass by the bed. HMM!

We have shown … What the heck, I am not a Royal, let me start over again. I have shown him just recently levitating himself. He is now showing off his improved skills - acquired from the master of levitation, the squirrel – by levitating a peanut. He’s doing this quite openly. Not sure if he’s trying to scare me or if he is one of those that always require an audience. I don’t care what his motivation is, I always find these activities exciting and entertaining. Although, I must admit, that I do wonder why just a bit. And to those of you who may think that this is a photoshop trick, it is not. I am not that good at photoshopping things and find that it takes way too much time out of my daily routine.

Many thanks for the favs and comments.

I've been doing this for over 50 years as part of my daily routine, putting on shoes/trainers/boots and tying my laces before leaving the house; thanks for teaching me Mum all those years ago. HMM

The first thing I do after rising is put on my glasses. It was a bit tricky getting this shot, without wearing them.

A daily routine of me is to charge all the nifty electronic devices, which I think I can't live without, even I survived the first decades of my life without them quite well.

This is a photograph of my toothbrush in it's smiling travel holder - have a great day.

I have a pretty awesome work neighbourhood, so my daily routine takes me past these iconic buildings, the V&A museum to the left and the Science Museum, and Natural History Museum to the right.

Essential part of my daily routine - Macro Mondays

I try to start my day with a few minutes of peace and quiet, meditation. It was such a beautiful November morning that I had my coffee outside and this is what I saw. I love autumn :)

Being on a diet means my food intake is restricted - this inevitably means meals take less time to eat. So coffee has become an even bigger part of my daily routine.

Stay safe, get vaccinated when you can.

Macro Mondays - My daily routine

Part of my daily routine is to come back from work and have a nice glass of red wine to relax with whilst eating dinner and watching TV.

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive; to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." – Marcus Aurelius

Unless I travel or it is weekend, I wake up every morning at 6:45... to breathe, to think, to enjoy and to love.

HMM dear friends.

My Daily routine- start the day with a big bowl of cereal

Definitely not the only one with this concern in mind ! HMM !

I could also said : "How keeping self-control against adversity..." ;-)

(Continuation of story)

My daily routine changed if visitors came. I turned into a tourist and explored unfamiliar places. Don came back several times to check on his grown son, a task that no parent relishes. When he did, he would spend his spare time with me sightseeing. It was a welcome change for me.

One day we decided to go to Ayutthaya by boat. We caught the riverboat in the old Western quarter of Bangkok and waited for its arrival on the terrace of the world famous Oriental Hotel. The hotel had been the first hotel built in Bangkok in 1876. It had changed hands many times since it was built, but during all those years, it was known to be a home to royalty and writers.

As we waited for the boat on the hotel’s terrace, I imagined Joseph Conrad, Somerset Maugham, Graham Greene and others sitting there sipping tea in the morning coolness and dreading the stifling heat that was to come later in the day. They all had captured the mystique of the Orient so well in their famous books.

Don and I boarded the boat which meandered up the Chao Phraya River; seeing shimmering gold structures along the way. We wandered the paths of the old city and saw its many treasures. The spectacular day ended with wandering Bang Pa-In, a royal retreat.

I have always been amazed by the different facets of the Thai culture that in many ways seem so contradictory. My months there, so many years ago, seemed to have followed the same pattern.

Theme: My daily routine: I can't imagine a day without a hot chocolate that is in a cafe in town or at home even. It is the perfect moment for me to unwind and let my creativity play.

Macromondays theme: "My Daily Routine". As usual, SOOC. HMM!
