Macro Mondays, My Daily Routine.
One would think walking each day and gardening in our sunny climes would be giving me enough Vit D but tests prove otherwise so on Doctor's advice I supplement each day.
Or blood glucose. Same thing, except blood sugar seems more graphic, more like the admonishment I need. It's a daily ritual for me. Up to this point, I'm still on oral medication. No insulin injections yet. This particular test resulted in a number that's the highest my blood sugar has ever been. I'm not sure why I'm still alive to write this! Just kidding. I'm out the door for my daily walk as soon as I upload this shot. Get that number down, Mike.
(for Macro Mondays, Theme—My Daily Routine; I used a similar shot for another group—Poetography—about a year ago and paired the shot with a poem ("Glucose Self-Monitoring") you might like. You may see the photo and a link to the poem here.)
For the Macro Mondays Theme: The eye of the beholder.
Fascinating how a substance can both heal or kill. In the correct dosage we call it a medicine, so it heals or improves certain diseases and disorders. In the wrong amount we call it poison, this same substance can make us more sick or even kill us. Of course nobody wants to use medicines voluntarily, we all hope to grow old healthily. Luckily a lot of illnesses and disorders can be cured nowadays, so when we need them, we can use the right medication.
For this week's theme I made an abstract photo of a capsule. I work in a pharmacy and working with medicines is my daily routine. Even though we all hope we won't have to use them, for me there is a certain beauty in it. The power of a chemical struture wich can either heal or kill... (and for me the healing part is the beauty-part)
Thank you for your time, faves and comments, it's much appreciated.
Happy Macro Mondays

"Weekly Theme Challenge" - Something Glass
For this weeks theme thought of keys as driving to work every day, then came feeding cats as have to do that every morning, but finally settled for toothbrush, sure there’ll be few others with same idea. Happy Macro Mondays.
2 1/2 inch metal clasp on the leash that I use for the 2 daily walks I take with my Border Collie, Lucky.
I feel like thoughts of fence Friday consume my drive time as I go back and forth on my daily routine. I am always looking off to find some amazing fence that I must return to when the light is right. Not sure if anyone else does this and becomes a menace on the road gawking out the window at any gate or fence that you come across trying to decide how you could compose a shot with this particular fence. Maybe it's just me....

HMM everyone and always a fresh breath :-)
For Macro Mondays theme "My Daily Routine", this depicts my habit of reading (from a dead tree book) before going to sleep every night. Much easier on the eyes than staring at a computer monitor. Also for 2016: one photo each day (311/366)
Less than 100 more days to go. Seems like just yesterday I started this thing, now it's become a part of my daily routine.
I am not sure at all what spawned this photo.
Macro Monday, 7.11.2016 The suggested theme ended in a spontaneous photo shooting on Sunday morning. In my enthusiasm I was to early to post it. Sorry for that, but after all it was my first participation in the Macro Monday challenge. So, here it is again.
Macro Monday - "My Daily Routine"
I love taking pictures of bubbles and enjoy the challenge of doing that. Having a shower is part of my daily routine so that gave me the perfect opportunity to do another bubble macro for Macro Monday. I was also in part inspired by a previous challenge I did for Macro Monday back in 2013 (picture in comments). Today's picture is of a soap bubble emerging from a travel sized shower gel bottle from Lush.

Walking the dog. Do it almost everyday...if not, the dog is waiting for me sitting down like a statue, telling me... hey come on! The dog is an animal that loves his routine!
The theme for this weeks Macro Mondays is My Daily Routine.
The very first thing I do when I get up every morning, is take my vitamins. I take them when I get up so as not to forget, therefore this qualifies as a routine.
I take two vitamins, a D3 capsule, and a "mature" multivitamin. Apparently my age is what qualifies me to take the mature vitamin. I guess I am old relatively speaking. I don't feel that old, but I don't feel that young either.
Physically I am doing alright, not requiring any medications daily. And mentally I'm probably average for my age. Although when I read what I just wrote about how I might forget to take my vitamins were it not for this routine I realize that I probably am old.
I am not dead yet. I'm feeling better, I think I'll go for a walk.
HMM.

First thing in the morning is enjoying my coffee. Of course, I use a normal cup... ;)
Concerning the MM rules: this is a real coffee bean, the cup is less then 1.5 cm.
Happy Macro Monday. My daily routine includes looking at the photos of people I follow and choosing favorites. Taken with iPhone 6s.
Day 3652 Y10D364
This is it, this is day 3652, 10 years of daily Lego photos. I was 34 when I started this on February 25, 2011, my son was only 3 months old. Now I’m 44 and he is 10. It been tedious, boring, thought provoking, problem solving, idea storming and fun all at the same and different times. I have appreciated all the likes, follows and the interactions that have come of this project. It has become part of my daily routine, part of my life and has led me to see the world in a different way. My photography has changed and improved, as has my thought process.
Where do I go from here? I’m not sure. For now, keep following me here and on Instagram at kevinmboots77
This isn’t good bye, this is until we see each other again.

Fancy high-tech toothbrush for the Macro Mondays group, theme “My Daily Routine.” For my daily routine at least I get to brush my teeth inside my mouth instead of taking them out of a glass by the bed. HMM!
We have shown … What the heck, I am not a Royal, let me start over again. I have shown him just recently levitating himself. He is now showing off his improved skills - acquired from the master of levitation, the squirrel – by levitating a peanut. He’s doing this quite openly. Not sure if he’s trying to scare me or if he is one of those that always require an audience. I don’t care what his motivation is, I always find these activities exciting and entertaining. Although, I must admit, that I do wonder why just a bit. And to those of you who may think that this is a photoshop trick, it is not. I am not that good at photoshopping things and find that it takes way too much time out of my daily routine.

Macro Mondays - My Daily Routine
The first thing I do after rising is put on my glasses. It was a bit tricky getting this shot, without wearing them.
