I didn't finish this book. I read enough to figure out who Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe were.
"Australia's Forgotten Army", by Graham McKenzie-Smith, about the movements of Australia's battalions around bases all over the country in preparation of invasion!

I popped into William's Hovel with their paper and had a chat about books life and lack of it and hew admired our travels...
He had too many books to read and many ship models to make before...
He had a pile of books on the settee and said they were given to him and I could have them..
Being interested in the 2nd World War I picked out several which I now have to find time to read..
One was the 2006 Fitzsimons TOBRUK hardcover without photos.
I will take it up for Graham..
Kate is interested in all the others...
I had a black limited edition MGB many years ago and it was a fine and fun automobile. This shot was probably inspired by this one.

This was a birthday present from a friend who's a cook. Great reference for cooking. Don't think I'll ever master half the stuff in here...but it's worth the try!
I think Charles really coined the phrase WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? (long ago) and he not only said it and wrote it, but he DID it! I just finished reading this book, and I highly recommend it.
Was happy that these Western Digital 500GB drives were SATA, the drives in my Lacie are just ATA and can't be used in the Drobo. The WD MyBook had to be the worst external drive I ever purchased... plagued with heat related shutdowns due to poor design.
Life is sweet! You know, guys and gadgets. Boys and toys.
The postman just delivered these two My Book external hard drives. 500 gb each. It's the end of those days burning cd's and dvd's for back-up. They don't work after less than a year anyway! I've lost important files and photos that way!
How do you back up your files? Online backup web hotel or something more local?

I probably would have appreciated this book if I had seen him on Saturday Night Live BUT I have never watched that show....is it still on? I heard this guy being interviewed on NPR and thought the book would be interesting.
