Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,

My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air.

Across the clouds I see my shadow fly,

Out of the corner of my watering eye.

A dream unthreatened by the morning light

Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night.

Theres no sensation to compare with this;

Suspended animation, a state of bliss.

Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.

Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I.

I'm just a ghost in this house

I'm just a shadow upon these walls

As quietly as a mouse I haunt these halls

I'm just a whisper of smoke

I'm all that's left of two hearts on fire

That once burned out of control

You took my body and soul

I'm just a ghost in this house

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do

Wow!!!

The day started musically, with refreshing water sound play, as the basics of Music.

Shape Hopscotch: an educative way to improve on their fine motor skills, gave a wonderful learning experience.

Wall number game for numeracy was also exciting.

To enhance their literacy skills, they sorted out phonics by sending phonic mails.

Archeologist!! Archeology!!

Yes… at White Fields Nursery, archeologists were busy digging up old remains of dinosaurs and insects.

Kids enjoyed Water play, during which they had to search for the sea animals in their own little sea.

They enjoyed the ring game and painting activities, and also had a great time learning about number 4 and counting with pom poms.

During outdoor game, kids played a "hit the target" game.

The day ended with a balloon tennis game.

A day to explore and to enjoy…

Nothing inspires more inspiration than the musically entrancing streests of Prague.

Of course, everyone hears what they want to hear in music - we interpret lyrics to fit our own lives, our own stories.. For me, this is a song not of condemnation - but of redemption and ultimately - forgiveness...

In this farewell - there's no blood - there's no alibi

'cause I've drawn regret - from the truth

of a thousand lies

So let mercy come - and wash away

what I've done

I'll face myself - to cross out - what I've become

erase myself - and let go

of what I've done

...

For what I've done - I start again

and whatever pain may come

today this ends

I'm forgiving what I've done

Glad there was a Grateful Dead song on the list.

Two musically gifted women’s lives overlap over the boundaries of time in Rosalyn Story’s novel Sing Her Name. With racism barring her way, a nineteenth century concert artist can never achieve the place in history she deserves. Then, long after her death in poverty and obscurity, a 21st century waitress, talented but musically untaught, has a chance to revive this singer’s name and reach her own success–if her family ties don’t hold her back. This is Josiah. He is this artistic/musically inclined punk kid I met at the dollar store today as we both shopped the plastic skull section of the store. He is in the process of creating a musically based performance that will show at Skeletones in Grand Rapids on January 17th. it's based on Mayan prophesy, apocalyptic visions and biblical imagery. All in all it sounds flippin' killer. Hope to be there, and if you want someone to shoot your show Josiah, give me a shout xexos45@yahoo.com.

Nat came home from uni today.... his course is now finished for the semester. He spent the last two days without sleep getting his final projects done for his architecture course.

When he came home he was a ghost of his former self.... looking like death warmed up.

So now he's had an hour or two relaxing (playing drums & guitar), a strong cup of coffee, and a home cooked meal. Now he has decided to go down the pub with his friends.

I can't imagine my body & soul recovering like this.... would take me at least a full day to recuperate.

Two weeks in NOLA for the mardi gras 2017

Founded in 1993, the Krewe of Orpheus takes its name from the musically-inclined son of Zeus and Calliope. Founding members included Harry Connick, both the junior and senior.

In New Orleans, the krewe established themselves as a superkrewe with their first parade in 1994, which rolled with 700 riders. They were the first super Krewe to allow both male and female riders.

The Krewe's throws include a number of popular items including emblem beads, stuffed animals, signature beads, light-up Orpheus medallion beads, cups, three different types of doubloons, and 4-foot-long stuffed dragons.

They have a number of notable floats including the Dolly Trolley, the horse-drawn bus that was used in the opening of Hello Dolly with Barbra Streisand, the Smoking Mary which is a six unit float that looks like a steam locomotive, a Trojan horse and the Orpheus Leviathan Float, which is a three unit, 139-foot float, and the first Carnival float to use extensive fiber optic lighting.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Fats Domino wass the honorary grand marshall for 2014. His eldest son, Antoine Domino III, rode in the parade and perform his 85 year old father's music.

In addition to Fats Domino, Quentin Tarantino reigned as the krewe's celebrity monarch.

ℹ️ Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109, composed in 1820, is the third-to-last of his piano sonatas. In it, after the huge Hammerklavier Sonata, Op. 106, Beethoven returns to a smaller scale and a more intimate character. It is dedicated to Maximiliane Brentano, the daughter of Beethoven's long-standing friend Antonie Brentano, for whom Beethoven had already composed the short Piano Trio in B♭ major WoO 39 in 1812. Musically, the work is characterised by a free and original approach to the traditional sonata form. Its focus is the third movement, a set of variations that interpret its theme in a wide variety of individual ways.

Counting the days on the calendar

Strange how they bleed into each other

All that I need

Is a day with you

Pencil me in on your Saturday

Taking my leave

Should I be waylaid please wait for me

On a day with you

Maybe for now an hour will do

Remember my dear this time last year

The sunsets were late and the days were long

And the nights were filled with song

The nights were filled with song

Strolling the street we're strangely complete

Let's stay awake till the morning comes

We don't need anyone

We don't need anyone

Wasting my life at the traffic lights

Getting nowhere

Trapped in the turnstiles

Stay within reach

Of a day with you

Maybe for now an hour will do
