Mori is wearing gorgeous Musical Trench Stock, which I love! Musical Trench itself is a mess, her hair arrived in balls of grease, so disgusting that even with hair treatments it wouldn't look good. Considering Takara Tomy charges good amounts for these dolls, I'm very disappointed in the doll. I plan to cut her greasy locks off into a bob. Make up is beautiful and stock gorgeous, but very very disappointing with hair.

My son loves everything musical and is especially fond of the electric piano we have in his playroom. He is just big enough now to reach the keys without helps and he loves to tap out a little tune for me :)

There's a possibility I can play something melodic but it's been a very long time since I had piano lessons as a child!
Can you believe it - I'm actually inking up some new stamps!!
We had our chorus Christmas party on Monday and I need thank you cards for gifts I received. Thought these two stamps went together so well. The Musical Collage was stamped once for a different card (that's drying right now) so I stamped a second time for a subtle background to the Musical Clef. Tried to use this months colors too :)

Mosquitero musical

De las especies de mosquiteros que nos visitan durante las épocas de paso migratorio, el musical es quizá el más abundante, dado que se trata de una de las aves más numerosas en toda Europa. Aparte de esta nutrida población migrante contamos con unas pocas decenas de parejas reproductoras en la Cordillera Cantábrica y el País Vasco. Condicionantes ambientales y biogeográficos parecen ser la causa de que esta especie, tan común en Europa, no sea más frecuente como nidificante entre nosotros. Es un ave muy parecida a los mosquiteros común e ibérico, de los que se diferencia por su tonalidad algo más amarillenta y por su canto.
Descripción y Clasificación
Orden Passeriformes; familia Sylviidae
Longitud 10-12 cm. Envergadura 16-22 cm.
Identificación
Presenta gran parecido con otros congéneres, especialmente los mosquiteros común e ibérico, de los que se diferencia por poseer el pico y las patas pálidos, las listas faciales más marcadas —con una lista superciliar muy patente—, las partes inferiores más amarillas y el dorso de un tono verdoso más brillante (dibujo 1).
Canto
Consiste en una estrofa suave y de tono descendente, que el ave ejecuta de forma repetida. El reclamo es un silbido suave, disilábico y ascendente, similar a un huiit.
