We went to the Luthier this afternoon to bring one of Stu's basses in for repairs. White there the Luthier allowed me to photograph his shop. He had a lot of beautiful instruments there.
An upright piano sits under cover outside the domestic terminal at Christchurch International Airport.
It asks passersby to "play me, I am yours"...with some warm fuzzy words down the side: "Be the reason someone loves, encourages, dances, rejoices, cheers today."
It is surprising how often the sound of 'tinkling ivories' greets you as you step out of Domestic!

Remember the scene in the classic "Sound of Music", where Liesl Von Trapp sang "I am 16, going on 17"?
When I saw this gazebo, I swear, I couldn't help myself. I just had to completely break out into song. So ok, I had to sing it out loud, but no, I didn't skip and toe flex my way around.
