Muscle car is an American term used to refer to a variety of high-performance automobiles. It is a product of the American car industry adhering to the hot rodder's philosophy of taking a small car and putting a large-displacement engine in it.

Exhibition promo shot for An Lanntair art gallery, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. I've been asked to supply a few display items for a month long exhibition concentrating on high performance engines.
For four weeks the gallery is being turned into a hotrod workshop. The centre piece is a real-life 3D exploded diagram of a Volkswagen air-cooled engine, using actual engine parts. It occupies most of the main gallery wall. I laid all the parts out on the gallery floor last week. Since then the exhibition staff have been figuring out how to mount everything on the wall. We also have a couple of cars parked in the gallery space: John Mitchell's 2332cc 1969 VW Beetle plus one of the last air-cooled Porsche 911s (thanks to longtime island motorsport legend Kiwi). Lewis Car Club have kindly loaned their drag race timing equipment.

'Connexions Musculaires de L' Aiselle. Couche Superficielle.' (Connections of the Axilla Muscles. Superficial layer.) This plate shows the connections of the axilla muscles of an adult. Pectoralis minor, deltoid, teres major, serratus anterior, triceps brachii, subscapularis etc.
I am not really into cars, but this one is owned by the Country Star, Tim McGraw and is at the Mercedes Benz Dealership where I had to take my wife's car for service. It is being stored in their garage for a few days until its new garage is finished. He has 4 cars there and all are antiques, including a 1950's Chevy truck, Corvette and and Old Mercedes - pretty cool find!
