Construction continues on the first phase of a multipurpose training facility at Camp Pendleton which will cost an estimated $1.8 million, occupy 1.5 acres and include two 70-feet by 120-feet steel framed tensioned fabric structures and two 180-feet square grids where military units can set up their tactical operations center equipment and conduct battalion, brigade and division-level command post exercises. The facility can also be used as a staging area for Virginia National Guard units preparing for National Guard civil support missions when on state active duty. In addition to use by tenant organizations such as the 203rd RED HORSE Squadron and the Commonwealth ChalleNGe, the new facility will also be available for use by other Department of Defense and public safety training customers. The Westland Lynx is a British-designed multipurpose military helicopter. The design for the Lynx started in the mid-1960s as a replacement for both the Westland Scout and Wasp helicopters. The first prototype flew in 1971 and became the first fully aerobatic helicopter. A modified Lynx also set a speed record in 1986 as the world’s fastest helicopter, a record that it still holds today.
Both land and ship based versions of the Lynx went into production for the Army and Navy. The British Army Air Corps got their first Lynx in 1979 using them for utility, transport, anti-tank, search and rescue, escort, and reconnaissance missions. In 1981, the British Fleet Air Arm received their first Lynxes. The naval version incorporated many changes including wheels instead of skids, sonar, radar and different sensors for use in its anti-shipping, anti-submarine, anti-pirate, and ship replenishment missions. British Lynxes saw extensive service in several conflicts including the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, and the Middle East. It is a versatile airframe with over forty different variants that served with the British military and were exported to sixteen other foreign militaries around the world.

She moored up in Bidston Basin to prepare for a job at Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm to repair the SSEC3 export cable due to a power core fault. She will be working alongside MPI Resolution jackup and Iceni Defiant CTV. She used her DP system to remain in place whilst in Alfred Basin.

436's power waits a yard crew to become an extra yard to spot some elevators. The three here sit silent.
A multipurpose public building in Helper, Utah holds, among other things, a public library. I found the architectural style interesting, particularly the rounded corners and upward swirl of the windows found there, probably following a turned interior staircase. The glossy black statue on the far left is a tribute to the area's mining heritage.
Helper is named for the railroad engines which assisted or "helped" push trains loaded down with coal up the steep slopes to the north and on toward places like Salt Lake City. Helper has always been a gritty working town, although less so these days. Anything apparently went on here during the heydays of mining with a number of local hotels and clubs sporting brothels, the last only closing their doors in the 1970s.

EV Development and Utilizations was apparent @ CES2022 in Las Vegas, NV and this was one example! This vehicle could be used in factories and warehouses for many purposes!
These awesome machines are everywhere in the countryside. Basically its a motor that they can till the fields with and they can hook it up to a cart and its a farming vehicle as well. You see these things chugging down the road everywhere, their loud 2-stroke engines pumping along.

Gardening, carpentry and turning tools
Augustus Wettin (Saxon Elector from 1526-1586) had a great interest in all kinds of tools, including those related to mining and military needs, cabinet making, agriculture and gardening, some of which he used and even made himself in his own workshop. A fascinating section of the exhibition is devoted to these tools which are not only practical but also elaborately decorated and embellished. Many of these tools would not be out of place in a 21st century gardening shed or workshop, particularly the folding multipurpose tool (pictured right) dating from 1560-70, a remarkable forerunner of today’s pocket knife, with its fourteen small tools on a pivot.
The gardening tools include two iron spades, one of them painted with fruit and flowers on its wooden mounts; dibbles and rakes with turned wood handles; two long-handled clippers with cords for trimming trees and shrubs; and an adze, a tool combining a weeding blade with a little axe for cutting out roots and shoots, the shaft covered with floral bands of bone inlay. Another adze and a brass seeder of 1572, engraved with the initials AA for Augustus and his wife Anna who shared her husband’s passion for gardening, were both known to have been used by Augustus himself.
An “abstract-figurative” object that does not represent anything in particular and at the same time, each of its positions suggests a type of character of a form, by Rosario Hurtado and Roberto Feo of El Último Grito studios.
This object was not designed with a definite function in mind, but its dimensions are appropriate for it to be explored physically.
