This ain’t no way to be

Stuck between my shadow and me

The sun’s going down

It’s getting dark in here

Still folks say:

“I got nothing to fear”

I’m so tired over beating myself

Beating myself up

Gonna take a trip and multiply

Please go under with a smile

Orchis bouc (Himantoglossum hircinum)

A couple of weeks ago Macro Mondays had a theme of Mushrooms. After searching for a while and not finding any I remembered my miniature ceramic red spotty mushroom nestling amongst the succulent pot plant. However, I never got to post it. Here for Sliders Sunday is the triple exposure in camera, duplicated in PS and overlain with a texture. After the rain and warmth of the last few days the mushrooms will start popping up again. I hope you weren't too affected by the rain storm last evening . I nearly had a flood inside the house. If it had rained at that intensity for another 15 minutes it would have been bad! So what else will 2021 throw at us? HSS

This single plant pops up in the garden every year. Quite a common species here, with sympathetic management they usually multiply over the years. Not this one!

I've taken glass spheres for the theme multiply which are greatly increasing in volume from bottom to top. I thought that they looked like an insect's eye but maybe I've been doing too much macro photography.

The seed pods of the Donkey Tail Spurge are so beautiful,,,, well at least I think so 😊.... texture my own,,,,,thanks so much for your visits

I must mulitply stitches and rows to produce a pleasing pattern.

Cotylorhiza tuberculata, also known as the fried egg jellyfish, is a species native to the Mediterranean that is harmless to humans. Due to the warming of the seas, this species has multiplied significantly in recent years. The jellyfish are being spotted more and more frequently off the Mediterranean coasts of the Spanish holiday islands.

They can move autonomously and independently of ocean currents.

The jellyfish's umbrella can reach a diameter of 40cm.

The animal feeds on small marine animals and algae. It lives just below the surface of the water and only lives for about six months.

The photo of this jellyfish was taken in an aquarium. The colours and contrast are particularly intense due to the dark background and artificial lighting.

However, many of the photos in my series were disturbed by reflections or motion blur.

Thank you for visiting!

A favourite winter salad, very hardy and as you can see from the masses of tiny flowers it is very happy to multiply all by itself...
