I've been seeing lots of fungi around these days with these under one of my Silver Birch trees and another larger type under the next one. Fungi of course can form Mycorrhizal associations with trees ( roots) with an exchange of nutrients and benefits for both types of organisms. The current coolish and wettish weather is ideal for the fungi.
