The Ochre Pits. These multicolour rocks was mined by the region Aborigines group, the West Arrernte people. The coloured rock were mixed with emu fat to produce body paint for ceremonies. They were a precious commodity in Aborigine Australia and were traded all over the continent (West McDonnell National Park). / Ochre Pits. Ces roches multicolores était exploitées par les Aborigènes de la région, le peuple West Arrernte. Les roches colorées était mélanger avec du gras d'émeu pour produire de la peinture pour la peau pour des cérémonies. Ils étaient un ressource précieuse en Australie Aborigène et ils étaient échangés partout sur le continent (Parc national West McDonnell).

Phallus multicolour is a species of fungus in the family Phallaceae. It is similar in overall appearance to Phallus indusiatus, but it has a more brightly coloured cap, stipe and indusium, and it is usually smaller. It is found in Australia, Guam, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Papua New Guinea, Zaire, and Tobago as well as Hawaii. It has a pungent smell which attracts flies and other insects. The bell-shaped cap is covered with a greenish-brown slime termed the gleba which is the sticky spore mass. The flies land in the gleba and consume the slime, depositing it as excrement elsewhere thus effecting spore distribution.

Its close relatives include the onion, shallot, leek, chive, Welsh onion, and Chinese onion.
It is native to South Asia, Central Asia and has long been used as a seasoning worldwide, with a history of several thousand years of human consumption and use.
It was known to ancient Egyptians and has been used as both a food flavouring and a traditional medicine.
I have it in my kitchen as decoration, my stomach does not agree with it.
When old I plant the bulbs next to Roses, greenfly also do not like them, LOL.
