ONDU 6x12 Mk III multiformat pinhole camera and expired (1/2008) Rollei Infrared 400, used R72 filter and exposed @ 6 iso, 4 minutes exposure, developed in Diafine, 6 mins part A, 6 mins part B.
Had a rather uninspired World Pinhole Photography Day so I jumped in my car and just went for a drive. As I came out of the village of Northiam I saw a steam train pull into the station. I paid for my platform ticket and had a wander around the station, this train had been there a while and when it started to get steam I crossed the track and took a couple of shots.
The station is part of the Kent and East Sussex Railway line that runs from Bodiam to Tenterden.
I love shooting with and the results I get with my Ondu Multiformat, everytime I use I think 'I should use that more often!'

The Tay Rail Bridge as seen here is the 2nd bridge to be built across the Tay from Wormit to Dundee, The first bridge collapsed in a storm on December 28th 1879. casting a passenger train into the Firth of Tay with all 75 passengers lost.

The film photos I took on World Pinhole Photography Day 2020 (26th April) finally came back a couple of days ago.
This one was taken on Fujicolor NPS 160 that has a use by date of 2005... the colours on this really old film seem to depend a lot on how much light gets to the film. This one had a much longer exposure time than the other which has resulted in these greeny-yellow colours. The long exposure time has also procuded cool movement blur in the clouds.

If you're wondering what's going on with this shot, it was taken using an Ondu wooden pinhole camera... I forgot to close the shutter as I wound on the film which created a sort of accidental multiple exposure!
Sometimes I like the product of an accident :-)

Completely unintentional double exposure. Ironically, the two photographs were taken twenty feet or so from each other. I may go back and retake the originals, but I rather like the contemplative combination.
The plaque on the tree has a conflation of Joshua 1:9 and Esther 4:14, which I found both appropriate and timely.
Be strong and courageous, perhaps you were born for such a time as this.

Still have a bunch of Efke IR and IR AURA in the freezer and after seeing this I can't wait for spring to start! Unfortunately the company doesn't exist anymore but my fingers are crossed that the freezing action is keeping the film very well and alive.

Got out for mile amble yesterday afternoon for the first time in almost two weeks. Getting sick is no fun. It's good to be mostly up and about again. I shot a full roll with the Ondu 6x12 pinhole camera.

The view from the end of the line
Just up the embankment from where I started. The nature preserve in bounded by an active line on the south and this abandoned line on the north. Behind me in the weeds are the wheel black to keep parked railroad cars from falling onto the road where the bridge used to be.
This was my first roll shooting Kentmere Pan 100. I like the results so far.

This place had some of the most spectacular sights I've ever seen! The Karanfili range in the Prokletije mountains in Montenegro bordering Albania in all of its awe! It was early fall on our Balkan van trip and we saw only a handful of people that day. It was the perfect opportunity to try out a slightly longer exposure with IR film and the ONDU 6x12 Multiformat Pinhole camera. Exposure took place in bright sun and was probably in the range of about 8 seconds, with high winds sweeping the ridge. This was my first attempt at IR with a pinhole and upon developing the film I realised how much potential this has. Anyone else had a go with Infra Red Pinhole out there?

After making more than 1200 cameras in the last production run following our Kickstarter campaign we headed out for a Balkan trip with our VW T4 van named Spruce. Offcourse we loaded up with film, many ONDU Pinhole cameras and set out to explore some pretty much untouched beauty of this land. One of the most memorable summits is this mountain called Harapit or Arapit in Albania just close to the Montenegrian border. We have been to many summits before including climbing, ice and so on. But Harapit was different, it was a relatively safe hike, but it still demanded a lot of respect and humility to approach. Pictured on the summit is smiling @gloria.outdoors after the mountain finally accepted us and we gloriously feasted on peanut butter and hazelnut spreads. 😋 And now for the specs : Shot with the ONDU 6x12 RISE Pinhole camera, exposure time below a second on #kodak #ektar 100 film. Second picture is a crop of the image to give you some more info about the detail that is perfectly doable with nothing more than a really nice wooden Pinhole camera. 🙏️
