With over 10 million Mallard ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) residing in North America alone, the Mallards are one of the best-known and most recognizable ducks. the mallard is a dabbling duck found throughout the temperate and sub-tropical areas around the world. The most abundant and wide-ranging duck on earth. The mallard usually inhabits the freshwaters of North America, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Mallards usually feed on plants, such as grass seeds, leaves, stems and aquatic plants, and vegetation like grains, rice, oats and corn. However, they are also seen feeding on insects, mollusks, small fish, tadpoles, freshwater snails, fish eggs, frogs and crustaceans. Quite a while since I've done a collection job but I was happy to help out West Kent Buses helping with the last two of a job lot of five Olympians. This pair were new to Centrewest for route 83, but have been well travelled around the First empire since. These are T893KLF and T899KLF, which last worked at First Kernow. They are seen in the yard behind Taunton Bus Station.

Took this in Portland while my trailer was being loaded. Also took a bunch of flower shots but they all sucked, lol. I liked the feeling of movement in this.
This is part of a soccer trophy one of the boys received in the past. Saw it on the shelf and thought why not try moving this and seeing what happens.
Took me slightly over 40 shots with different types of movement (left to right, back and forth, rotating, etc.) and speed of movement to get a couple I felt were okay. :)
I used an extension tube to capture this as I do not own a macro lens. This is a left to right movement very slowly. The one in the comments is from a rotating motion relatively quicker

i really liked the way this candid turned out. i don't tend to put alot of candids on here. i was thinking i'd start to do that more n_n
i took the SAT. my brain feels numb. is it weird that i'm looking forward to doing my regular school subjects this week? cuz i really am.
something else that's on my mind: lately, i've been really lonely, because i feel like everyone is moving on and i'm being left behind. i know technically i'm the one that left but that doesn't make it any easier on me. however, all of these feelings really make me appreciate my family. they've been there from the beginning and they're going to see me to the end. i really really really love them.
if you have issues with your family, just remember the prodigal son. it's easier said than done, but still worth a try. don't give up!

Walking through Little Wittenham Wood with Damain Ward we came across a wonderful collection of trees on the edge of a clearing where there had been some forestry work. It is a managed wood, so there are always piles of logs kicking around. The trouble was the head high deer fence that run round them. So lifting the tripod up and thankfull for my new wireless shutter release I grabbed some frames and this is the result of two of them stitched together. I liked the way the main tree seemed to be moving into the clearing to see what had been done, with a hint of sadness.
