Thursday 10th June 2010: The packing and moving continues. We're just about getting there.
We had to say goodbye to "Bear". He lives in our sitting room. He's bigger than me and has been in Emma's life longer than I have. He's staying with our friend Helen while we're away. Emma wanted to take him with us, but that would have required buying another plane ticket, he's *that* big.
This shows a CAT excavator moving soil into a tipper so it can be removed from site, The soil has been dumped on a bridge, the sides of which are not yet on the model.
We got the keys to our new apartment today! Woot! And a had a super classy 7-11 dinner picnic! Cause its on the corner of our street. The near proximity to a Slurpee is going to kill me. I love them!

The dinosaur show outside the Dinosaur Encounter exhibit in the Malacca/ Melaka zoo starts off. A shot while into the show, a zoo docent (volunteer) brings in a moving baby dinosaur to join the large T-Rex robot which is already dancing as part of the musical. (see previous pictures in this album). This is more of a Dinosaur dance actually, a music show with dancers and life like and realistic moving dinosaurs like this T-Rex mock up seen here. The T-Rex dances along as well with this baby under it's feet. This was all kid stuff, really, and they would not let us into the Dinosaur Encounter enclosure anyway until this show got over. And having seen similar dinosaur encounter like experiences before in Hong Kong and in the UAE, I sat through the musical for a few minutes and decided to give the Dinosaur Encounter a miss and moved on to check out the rest of the zoo. I was also short of time anyway. Notes about the Malacca/ Melaka zoo appeared earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). (Malacca/ Melaka, Malaysia, Sept. 2023)
