Lydstep Pembrokeshire Wales

There were just a few fireflies / lightning bugs at Fishing Creek last night. Very humid and misty and spooky after dark when I can't see anything but the lights of the fireflies.

This is a composite of exposures taken without moving the camera. The scene was exposed for 30 sec, F/8, ISO 640 and the fireflies were exposed about 150 times at F/2.8, 800 to 1600 ISO, 1 sec to 4 sec as it got darker. Most of the firefly frames were discarded because there were no flashes on them.

Hope the Bees take a break during the Heat that's coming.

On an undulating boardwalk in Norfolk. This is not the sharpest image and is heavily cropped, but it was fantastic to watch.

It's dusk and almost high tide in Dunraven Bay, south Wales.

I couldn't help but name this image after the title of my favourite music album of the 1970's - 'Moving Waves' is by pioneering Dutch prog rock band, Focus.

Happy Sliders Sunday!

Not a staged photo, it was taken on a window around the house

I'm starting to repeat myself ... I can't resist the natural frame of a streetcar ... forgive me?

The Norfolk Southern train was hustling his way through heavy rain only to catch a stop signal a few miles east at CP BANKS.

Moving Skater - Antonio Marin Jr

While at first glance this iceberg may appear to have broken off from the glacier in the background, it actually is one of the many remnants of the world's largest iceberg, A23a, moving on past the South Atlantic island of South Georgia and its stark wind swept mountains.

Well, moving day is 6/28 - just 3 days away. [Almost] all of the Lego/toys are packed, along with the lights, backgrounds, props, etc., so it'll be awhile before I'm posting with any frequency again. [I do have access to some minifigs and props, so there'll probably be a shot now and again, before everything's been unpacked and rebuilt.] And I'll definitely still be checking out what everyone has been doing on here. Back soon!
