This First Bristol ALX 400 is one of a number of deckers that has moved down from Leicester. Here's it's seen charging into the city centre, having come from Cadbury Heath on route 45.

This guy has just got too big for the balcony - I risked a puncture every time I had to lean over to see who was at the door! LOL

A new chapter for Pataphysical Studios started today, as we moved the 'Pataphysical Slot Machine to a new home. Our poetic oracle made its maiden journey to the hilltop ranch of Drs. Canard and Figurine, after six years of art incubation in Dr. Rindbrain’s backyard.
The move went very smoothly, with a fine crew of goggled pataphysicians on hand. It took us about four hours to load, unload and set up the exhibit, on a balmy Saturday afternoon. Getting the electronics connected took about an hour — and we got it all working, with a bit of soldering and ritual incantations.
We celebrated this historic occasion with a shot of absinthe and lots of good cheer. Ubu and the Slot Machine seem to fit right in their new home: a lovely guest room with a private entrance, overlooking an idyllic garden with views of the bay.
We plan to host viewing parties and open studios every few months, so others in our community can get to experience the Slot Machine and its magical wonderboxes. Long live Ubu!

This is the crew who rocked up for Gadge's Hag Do. Gadge (Gary) is set to marry the lovely Tobias this Saturday in London. I'm going down to shoot the wedding- exciting! This shot followed us learning a Beyonce dance routine to 'Move Your Body'. Amusing :)
As you can see from this group shot, there are so many big characters I think the whole thing is going to be great fun :)
Currently I should be somewhere around the Midlands on a train, but it was a rather traumatic start to the day as I had to take the boys (Reuben and Fox) to the kennels they are staying at whilst Arthur and I are on our respective holidays.
I felt like I totally abandoned them and sobbed all the way home (thanks to Phil for once again talking me through this particular crisis).
So, camera equipment is checked, batteries charged, memory cards formatted, its just a case of 'Moving my Body' now :) XX
Disposable commercial construction: this former Walgreens and strip-mall storefront in my neighborhood has now been completely demolished, with the land completely cleared and being prepared for construction of the new, replacement Walgreens.
The old Walgreens may not have been the most modern, but I miss it. I remember buying my first, fake Christmas tree there (my "Charlie Brown" tree) the year I bought and moved into my condo. I bought a coffee maker, scale-model toy cars (some of which I used for photo shoot projects), and myriad prints of my photographs from the lab, here at this store.
I had also bought a pair of sandals from the Payless Shoe Source on the western (far left) part of the store, back about five years ago when "mandals" were everywhere.

CP 694-094 is heading for the Elgin Sub., crossing the Roosevelt St. grade crossing to nowhere. At one time, there were trees and neighborhoods on the right of this Mexican visitor. Now all there is to show for it is a vacant lot and an elevation being built up to carry trains of the UP and CP over the top of busy Irving Park Road, just beyond the curve here.
