Considered to be one of the most iconic mountains of the North Cascades: Mount Shuksan, here seen from Hannegan Peak on a beautiful summer day with the grass showing the first autumn colors.
We did an overnight trip, staying at Hannegan Camp just outside of the North Cascades National Park - more pictures to come.

Mount Baldo range 20201213
Monte Baldo is a mountain range in the Italian Alps, located in the provinces of Trento and Verona. Its ridge spans mainly northeast-southwest, and is bounded from the south by the highland ending at Caprino Veronese, from the west by Lake Garda, from the north by the valley joining Rovereto to Nago-Torbole and, from east, the Val d'Adige.
The name derives from the German Wald ("forest"); it appears for the first time on a German map in 1163.

On the left we see Mt Ngauruhoe, then Mt Tongariro, then Lake Taupo, Motutaiko Island in Lake Taupo and Mt Tauhara on the horizon. The Kaimanawa Range to the right and the Mangateoteonui Stream Valley.

Mount Rundle - Wedge-shaped mountain, sitting at 9,672 feet with an advanced hiking trail. It is a distinctive landmark of this region. The photo was taken from Vermilion Lakes. Fall is a beautiful time to visit as the sun lights up the shrubs and grasses dressed in their fall colors. Spending a few hours relaxing along the shores of the lake, enjoying the spectacular views of Mount Rundle at sunset....
