The power and beauty of the ocean. It can be our friend or our enemy, it can deliver life or death, It sustains us, it can be the source of joy or fear. It can set us free or imprison us. Today it is art...
Too late! I had an Internet connection issue and I wasn't able to add this image to Crazy Tuesday group! 😔
In any case, have a nice day, dear friends! 🙋♂️
Trees in motion
Panning shot.
I had posted this picture years ago. And when it appeared in Explore, I accidentally deleted it. That's life. ;)
Bäume in Bewegung
Mitzieher-Bild.
Das Bild hatte ich vor Jahren schon einmal eingestellt. Und als es in den Explore kam, hatte ich es aus Versehen gelöscht. So ist das Leben. ;)
My first attempt at some light trails last December. A bit of work to do but quite good fun looking at the results.

Thought this was a fun shot, taken while driving through Gatineau Park. I liked the natural painterly effect in motion, hope you do too =)

Some friends of the group www.flickr.com/groups/1500280@N20/ had a little photo-trip yesterday. It was extreme cold outside, so we better moved to a Italian restaurant after a short time ;-)

My attempt at this technique of abstract art linked to nature. No filter, no software.
Perso, nella più bella e vasta faggeta che io conosca.
Niente filtro, niente software; solo un mio tentativo di questa tecnica di astrattismo legato alla natura.

I like macro photography because it is so simple, and it is easy to find. We don’t need to travel miles to find a small subject. Only I need a 105mm macro lens which should be one on one, so I can get closer to subject and still can focus. I have three macro lenses. Tokina 100mm without image stabilization, Sigma 105mm with images stabilization, and 35mm Zeiss less. I like Zeiss because of light weight and Sigma because of image stabilization. I will post more pictures this month.
As we travelled west across the north coast we called very briefly at Sango Bay to snap some shots of this often photograhed rock formation surounded by a lively sea.
A Roseate Spoonbill leaves its nighttime roost before sunrise in #florida. I used a slow shutter speed (1/15 sec) to blur the beautiful pink wings of the spoonbill while keeping its head reasonably sharp to create a dreamy effect. The rainbow colors in the mangroves behind the bird were created by a mixture of red flowers, bluish shadows and green leaves.
I took my dad mackrel fishing as a birthday treat last weekend, it was a great trip but we couldnt find the mackrel shoals! Luckily for me i remembered to take my camera
