Not always easy to get a good "Intentional Blur". Tried a lot of moving things, and the easiest is using a moving object. Thank you Janet for this theme, learned something new (again).
Here is the link to a story about the search for a location for the photo shoot and the nice and surprising encounter with the owner of a building company who turned out to be very helpful.

Please enjoy the busy bee details in Large. Thank you so much for your visit!
A gloomy day, a fleeting journey, almond blossoms left behind. Between clarity and blur, a moment caught between two worlds.

I converted the pictures of this series to black and white. But a few of them I processed in color, just out of curiosity.
Please find the articles about this photo shoot in the blog section of the website. You can also find a selection of pictures of the Inner Core Project and motion studies in the “new work” section of the website. www.chris-r-photography.net
"So you're saying that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force?"

A shot that sums up the constant energy and motion of a big sea running. Motion Sickness id by Damien Jurado. I'm off doing a High Brown Fritillary management assessment today to prepare for contractor work.

I really wasn't going to post this, as nothing is really in focus, but I decided I liked the sense of extreme motion of the wings. It is purely the result of a too slow shutter speed and what I think is some serious rolling shutter effect from the fully electronic silent shutter used in this shot.
It was a dark and overcast morning, and I had not set my camera for capturing action, when this curlew flew by. Thus, the extreme motion blur, as I panned with the bird, and a less than sharp curlew, which, to my eye, resulted in quite a pleasing image.
exploring my shutter speed again....beautiful monday to all....

Windmills in motion are a challenge I find hard to resist. It was raining the day I saw this one spinning in the breeze. I took a good few shots and only got a little bit wet, but I got the shot I was looking for.
