Slow shutter speed on the Opera House as two ferries pass by in both directions.
Re-visited my photo collection from the road trip and dug up a few more keepers.

I had a play around with the zoom effect technique today to try and recreate some of those old Ian Allan book covers of the 1950s and 60s.
My first portrait session. Subjects: My kids :) This was actually done for a photo challenge. The challenge was to capture a subject in motion while maintaining sharpness. Shame I didn't pay attention to the cropping.

Long exposure shot over the windshield of my Mazda Miata. I slowed the shutter to 1/4 sec and waited for some interesting color and light.
Suspended Motion of San Luis Obispo has produced an aerial arts and dance show--think of Cirque de Soleil. The show, "Eventyr, Into the Forest," is wonderfully animated and colorful and is performed today, June 2 at 2 PM at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts, 487 Fair Oaks Ave., Arroyo Grande.
(My niece is co-owner of Suspended Motion and I was allowed to photograph during the dress rehearsal.) And thanks to Sylvia for the use of the lens.
