#cy365 #february2016 #motion My nephew had this neat timer that everyone was fascinated with. He wanted it back but was willing to let me play so I could take a picture of of it. Didn't have my tripod, needed a small f-stop for a longer exposure, balancing on a table, and fighting off my nephew. My mom - you can't play with TK's camera. If you break it, you'll have to sell your shoes!
Henry, spotlighted at the end of a round of Bitey-Face.
You can clearly see his shorn belly in the shot. Actually, what you really see how THICK the remaining 1/2" of fur is.
This is where he gets hot spots - nasty, angry-red, weeping patches that appear over-night and can balloon to the size of your hand in just a few hours.
We think the pup's routine grooming, long and heavy coat, and the heat of the summer create just the right conditions for it to appear.
We hope that by keeping his fur short in the most vulnerable areas we will reduce the probability of it appearing - or at least damp down the aggressiveness - of it.
At the very least, it will be easier to spray the Vetericyn (Hot Spot spray) on him without all the fur in the way. The stuff is practically a miracle cure, and Henry seems to appreciate it, too!

An intermodal blasts down the Lurgan Branch after leaving Rutherford Yard. I was standing in the water when I did a pan shot of the freight.

I enjoy movement when I take pictures, even when the result is not so sharp. In this case I tried long exposition with a moving target. By Edgar Barreira

I would do anything
To hold on to you
That's just about anything
Until you pull through
I'll hold on to you
Till the stars no longer wink
I'll hold on to you
Till you figure out just what to think
'Cause, you're emotion in motion
My magical potion
You're emotion in motion to me
I would go anywhere
To meet up with you
That's just about anywhere
For one rendezvous
I'll hold on to you
Until the mountains crumble flat
I'll hold on to you
Until you figure out just where you're at
'Cause you're emotion in motion
My magical potion
You're emotion in motion to me
Yeah
I would do anything
To hold on to you
That's just about anything
That you want me to
I'll hold on to you
Until you take it all in stride
I'll hold on to you
Till you want to stay here by my side
my first stop-motion video.

Used a trashcan to keep the cam steady, small aperture to make the shuttertime longer. This is the place where the onride photo is taken, thanks to the flash you see some of the riders on this pic :)
Made it to explore! Thanks all!
Everything is in motion. Everything flows. Everything is vibrating.

Something completely new today for my 365. A video! yay :D
The stop motion could be better, but I guess it's okay for a first try. You can probably tell I messed up around the K :P
and um... the weather's nice today :D yet again. But I'm stuck indoors doing homework. But I hope this weather persists, because once winter sets in, such weather becomes rare :/
Watch positioned at a 60 degree upright angle, with an off-camera 580EX II set at full output to freeze the second hand. I actually wanted to have the second and minute hand frozen at the end of the exposure using second curtain sync, but I didn't have enough time to figure out how/if this is possible with the flash set to manual and triggered via pocket wizard.
Camera on a tripod, with mirror lock-up because the tripod's not very stable; taken with a 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
Ambient light was turned down low enough to allow for a 15-30s exposure.
Original capture converted to black and white using Nik Silver Efex Pro antique preset.
Produced in response to a recent monthly theme, 'Motion'.
