Riley has quite a few stuffies and he likes to leave them all over the living room carpet.

"Family – where life begins, and love never ends."

Today I am very grateful for my family and the time we could spend down to Ken’s.

Our sweet little girl turned six months old. She’s been such a purrfect addition to our family and makes us laugh every day with her goofiness. We love & adore her SO much!

April 2025: A month in 30 pictures - day 28

We've been away for a few days and got back pretty late so I popped into the garden with my iPhone and grabbed a pic of this tulip, she's well on her way out but still rather lovely.

His head still fits a newborn hat. It must be a large newborn hat lol.

Saturday Self Challenge: Surprise

When we saw our 14 year old grandson just over two months ago, he was playing pleasant tunes on the piano, Returning this week, we were amazed to hear classical music wafting through the house. Here he playing the main theme from the movie "Interstellar". A most pleasant surprise indeed.

There's an official term for the vertical column of light occasionally seen at sunset, possibly "columnar", but it's not my field. But it's very rare, rarer still in this region, where we can go months without a proper sunset like this one!

Davis, Ca. August, 2022.

Have a good and bright Sunday!

One of my teapots I chose for today’s letter, I do like a cup of tea but will always be a coffee girl.

Spring has arrived in full force here in the Pineywoods. I look forward to documenting its progression this year, and sharing those images and experiences with you all. This was my first luna moth (Actias luna) of the season. I spotted it while on a hike with my son through a favorite local patch of woods.

My recent absence is due to a recent life change - I started a new position as a biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service working with federally listed, proposed, and review species in East Texas and beyond. Settling into the new job, taking care of our 18-month old, and trying to soak up the spring has occupied most of my time, but I'm back to a point where I should be sharing images regularly again. I've definitely missed y'all over the past few weeks!

Month of Ramadan besides fasting, it is a symbolise equality, asking for forgiveness for their past sins and month of giving. A high point in charitable giving motivated by faith, towards the displaced.

Can you identify this bridge?

Visit www.bridgeink.com and send in your best guess. Just for the fun of it.

Hunting for some fog on Wirral lanes. It was so-so, but the colours were amazing.

Last saturday, Madelief and Karel had their tenth monthly birthday.

The grand tour around Germany was a big success. We all loved it. We stayed at a farm guesthouse, visited a spa, stayed at friends' places and we did a lot of playing, eating and siteseeing.

On the first day in Germany Karel suddenly sat up by himself, so this is the first of the monthly portraits where they're both sitting up.

Thanks rasr for fooooto
