Mono Lake is a large, shallow saline lake in Mono County, California, The lack of an outlet causes high levels of salts to accumulate in the lake.

Mono Lake has a personality that can be unforgiving at best. The lake decides if you get a keeper shot- you don't.

The bright light to the right (I believe) is the planet Venus.
