A b/w version I liked of an earlier post of Canmore's Three Sisters reflected in Policemen's Creek.
There is some confusion between the mono's. To clarify by definition the difference between monochrome (which this is) and monotones:
"A monochrome is an image that contains only one colour, but may have different shades of that colour. Most commonly shades of grey ranging from black to white, but it can be any colour.
A monotone is an image which only has one tone - i.e. no tonal gradation as you get in a monochrome. No "shades" of whatever colour it is in."
Thanks for your visit! Always appreciated!
A black and white, long exposure. portrait of the Green Bridge of Wales,
The Pembrokeshire coastline has some fabulous features in its limestone cliffs. This is a mono conversion of an 8 minute exposure, taken in pretty blustery conditions, with the wind blowing away from the camera. I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, with the wind buffeting the tripod throughout the shot. I had visions of the kit tumbling over into oblivion as I held on to the shutter release cable, for what seemed like an eternity.
Taken for the Weekly Macro Mondays challenge - Back to Square One
Pressed for time this week so this photo was taken and edited using my phone. The Mushroom is 3.5cms and the photo was edited using snapseed which was time consuming!
Many thanks for any favs or comments HMM!
Mt. Chephren and Lower Waterfowl Lake bracing for an early season snow storm. I posted this image earlier in technicolor but like it in monotones as well.
