For Muslims the most beautiful day of the week is Friday well ironed clothes a bit of attar and a meeting with God at the local mosque.
The Maulanas Friday kutbah a few coins to the beggars outside the mosque and back home sumptuous lunch with the family.

I started my Friday early morning going to play tennis met my friend Horse and on my return shot two stories.. Two videos.
Case no 1 Shaista Khartoon age 13 I have been shooting her for a year she begs a block away from my house her mother does domestic work her father has gone mad.
Shaista has an eye injury fire cracker made it worse.. I give her money buy her breakfast.
Today I made her talk her heart out.
And she is has 3 more sisters.
Her mother's uncle also begs in this road and she has to give part of her earnings to him she makes about Rs 500 at Bandra Bazar from 6 am to 1 pm.
Shaista is from Bengal she has never been to school she does not know Modiji or Mamataji but she knows Allah her sole provider.

God gave me a gift my camera eye so I use it to tell stories and the internet is my story board.

Fishing at the Talao is considered illegal activity most of the fishes have been thrown into the pond by aquarists who dropped their pet fishes in the pond when they overgrew their tanks ..and so yesterday I was surprised hordes of people fishing , there is no security and all the barricaded blocking the pond have been broken down , sadly even our Bandra Police wont see this ,, this is an area invariably home of drunks and druggaddicts ,,
I tweeted to Ms Poonam Mahajan and Ashish Advocate Shelar ,, I dont think it is going to make any difference ,, Ms Poonam Mahajan parachuted from the Tony area of Worli hardly has any lv for the poor mans Bandra .. She never responds to tweets makes me wonder why politicians are on Twitter to self congratulate themselves or use their timeline as a trumpeters for Modiji and other stalwart ministers of BJP party , I am on Twitter since 2008 .. I know Twitter is a home for most vicious political trolls .
As a senior citizen I feel sorry for Bandra and the fishes of Bandra Talao.

Anyone can drown at the Bandra Talao ..
Cow is a gentle animal. It doesn’t hurt unless it is challenged. And hurting humans in the name of its safety can never be acceptable to it. If it happens, the cow would hurt in a much deadlier way. This is what is now happening in India where all the natural laws are being flouted in the name of the protection of an animal just because it suits their political and economic ends.
For more than two years since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, India has been on the boil because of the fire the brigades, now being targeted as “Gau Rakshaks”, had been spreading. Love Jihad, Forced Conversion, presence of Muslims in Hindu festivals, Nationalism, intolerance, Muslim-specific-terrorism --- almost every day there would be an issue which the media used to the hilt to arouse hatred against Muslims of the country. And as soon as the electioneering moved towards the states that are most important from the point of power struggle, they found in cow a hen that would lay golden eggs of votes. But the cow is a cow and did not like to become hen. It refused to lay golden eggs and preferred to give milk for the survival of every countryman. The Brigade however was insistent on its giving the eggs. For making it follow their diktat, they started killing and torturing humans in its name. Akhlaq was murdered, many other Muslims were beaten. But all through these years Modiji did not open his lips. His lips had many other things to say. The cow waited, and then things started happening which made Modiji break his silence at last.
The Brigade did not remain satisfied in hitting Muslims who are relatively new enemies in terms of historical order. They now decided to settle scores with the older enemy, the one whom their old religio-cultural order had declared as untouchables, and the one who could not go to the temples and recite scriptures, the one who had only few jobs to do. First, a Dalit student committed suicide in a university in Hyderabad. Then a few were beaten in Gujarat resulting in more suicides. Then the fire spread to the other states. Now suddenly, the human in Prime Minister Modi woke. It realised that if the human has to remain the Prime Minster, the vote bank which had proved decisive in making him what he is now in the last elections, he would have to break his silence before it is too late. With the UP elections round the corner, Dalits will have to be won back. So the words flowed from the lips that apparently warned the Brigade to have a pause. But the Brigade is not happy even with a pause, or maybe it is helping the Prime Minster to ensure electoral success that would make the future of their activities more certain. Apparently they are fuming. Modiji is happy because he thinks the more they fume at him the more the Dalits would smile at him. He knows that if Dalits do not smile, the cow will graze the whole nation, not just a specific community, and that would starve his vote bank.
Dalits have however learnt their lessons. They would not accept his words. They would want action. But even if the action is taken, it is not likely to change the minds of Dalits. They have revisited the history, which is too horrible to forget soon.
Meanwhile, Muslims who have lately become much more deprived and hated than Dalits are waiting to see if the Prime Minister’s lips would ever open for them. They know it is unlikely to happen in any foreseeable future.

Modijis Swacch Bandra Abhi Yahan
I have known him for several years and shot him , and sat besides him begged with him.. whatever money I got I gave it to him, this was my catharsis ,, cleansing and removal of my pride my ego call it what you may , seeing me begging the crowds thought I too was a cripple and maybe metaphorically I am more cripple than him.
Last year he was not there , but he waits for me eagerly , and he has three children. he hails from 24 Praganas .. his daughter is terminally ill and he kept saying he wanted his voice to reach Modiji I shot two videos ,, to make it possible ,,
And I am trying to complete my Ajmer uploads I have to move on to the next episode of the beggar poets life .
And this Muslim Beggar from W Bengal orders tea for me , he wanted to buy me a bottle of water I refused , he loves me entirely , he gave me his number ,,
And so coming to Ajmer is not just about divinity congregational spirituality but about Humanity too.
The beggar bowl in the picture belongs to me , I eat food offered by the Malangs in it . I left the beggar bowl for my beggar friend ,, I got over rs 1000 sitting besides him and so I thought my friend surely deserves the beggar bowl..

I shoot pages of life's textbook I am happy I did not study formal photography it would have marred my so called photographers vision that is embedded as words in poetry.
I shoot stories I also recreate what I shoot as poetry I shoot only what I want to shoot my pictures will never never be found in newspapers or Marwari Stock Agencies that peddle pictures as one sells fish in a fish market.
My photography has no definition it was never shot to make money it does not have sale value.. It is mundane and highly pedestrian.. I shoot people on pavements footpaths streets roads by lanes.

Life is a highway to leading us by the nose to our desired destination.
This lady does not speak any language save Tamil she is a proud Tamil who came to Mumbai as migrants worked as scavenger s keeping our city clean before Modiji politically dreamed of Swacch Bharat and Modijis Swach dreams come with catch lines.
I have a great respect for the Tamil diaspora in Mumbai living in slums but keeping Mumbai clean these selfless people do a better job than the fat assed workers contractors of BMC.
They are extremely happy proud of their right to live work and this community is the only tough race that no one till date could mess with them politicians found soft targets like Bhaiyyas Gujratis Udupi restaurant owners once but they could never mess with the Madrasi
I am lucky my best friends Hindus are Madrasi followers of Goddess Marriammen.. I have yet to meet a follower of Goddess Marriamme'who does not know me.

The quality of the garbage bins is horrible within a short time they are in bad shape dented and most of the garbage bins sourced by the Municipal authorities BMC are now without wheels ,,so now the conservancy staff have to push the garbage bin all of 50 kg with garbage to hook it to the garbage dumper trucks ,,
Why is our erstwhile CM Devendra Fadnavis ..not taking steps to alleviate this garbage management problem of Mumbai..

This is the saddest part of Bandra Reclamation , even the residents that live across this dump in their posh surroundings are silent about this mess on the road , the garbage belongs to the residents of the camp and it is the filthiest site..Had Mr Amit Shah taken this road to go to Rang Sharda ,, you would have not seen this at all this is Modijis pet mantra gone to waste Swach Bharat ,, but not Swach Bandra
