For a long time I had not taken Nerjis out , I had to go to Brian Cable to pay my monthly subscription so I decided taking Nerjis along with my camera and my tutorials on shooting the streets ,, from my house to Somnath Lane where Brian has his office is a long brisk walk.. at some places I carried her too..

She shot Bandra Bazar Road , than she shot St Peters Church, she shot the Stanislites practicing football..she shot Brian and his sister and we returned home when it was real dark.

The sprout seller is a Marthi Manoos , he and his wife sell fresh sprouts and is an iconic spot at Bandra Bazar Road.

Bandra Bazar Road is my documentary too on the neglect apathy by our local representatives that we elected to power , and they did not care a hoot but the soul of Bandra Bazar road in deep sleep is finally awakening . Our Vote is not for making politicians rich and the rich man builders richer ,, it is for generating progress and development and not dividing us as Muslims Hindus Dalits and Christians ,,,

And Mr Narendra Modijis Swach Bharat in Bandra a BJP Constituency is million light years away.. dont ask me why .. some soul searching is required ,,

Open dirty gutters and one of the filthiest Municipal markets this poor side of Bandra .. and all this is known as Gaothan .. East Indian pride heritage gone to seed .

Who ever comes to powers as MLA here will have to Heal this part of dying Bandra rustic old Bandra .

The Bandra Bazar Roadside Fruit Market.

Most of the hawkers outsise the Bandra Municipal Market H ward sit outside the market stalls occupied on public road.

They have been here for generations nothing was done to provide them with stalls or kiosks but they are an important vote bank.

Some sell on their carts others have extended their stalls jutting on the roads so once in a blue moon the BMC vigilance comes and raids them confiscates their goods.. But the Municipal guys and the hawkers are in collusion the system is called hafta or protection money.

This is one arterial road in the market that has hawkers both side of the roads and nothing has been done to give them legalized hawker space.

I know most of the hawkers most passed away others remain but the politicians have not done anything for them at all.

Every time you talk to the local representative they have just one answer the Bandra Municipal market will soon be rebuilt and will go under Rehabilitation.

It has not happened for the last 25 years or more that I have lived in this area.

People of Bandra Bazar road hardly complain totally non aggressive people they have given up.

Take our garbage dump the ugliest filthiest but here to the BMC has failed and sabotaged our PM Mr Narendra Modiji Sir dream of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.

Winning on a BJP ticket is the carrot who cares for the public..

Politics is about minting money and looting the soul of the common man.

But whatever the outcome I feel here In our area People prefer a Congress Free Bandra.

The Congress party did nothingfor this Bazar where late Mr Sunil Dutt sab used to come on his cycle meet hear the hawkers greivances go from building to building offering solace and help.

But even his daughter could not fit into his shoes.. She was just a political fixture with her selfish coterie..

I don't need to elaborate.. If they had done good work..

It could have been BJP free Bandra that it was for over 20 years this side of midnight.

The local news affiliates with one party to another so you can't expect truth or integrity.

Cry my beloved Bandra Bazar.

He was sitting outside my building on a cart counting his coins I spoke to him in Marathi I first thought he was a farmer but he told me he was a labourer from Sholapur.

No work bad times he came to try out his luck in Mumbai the city of splattered dreams.

He was living from hand to mouth and begging was the only way he could sustain himself.

He was humble but he did not seek sympathy he did not ask for help he looked at odds with his circumstances.

Mind you he is a Maharashtrian and not a migrant from UP or Bihar he is the native of our state and he is begging to stay alive.

This hits me hard and yet our CM Sab dynamic and a visionary wants to make mountains without paying heed to the molehill.

All those great Maharashtrian leaders that blow their trumpets can hardly do anything for the Marathi Manoos..

Farmers committing Suicide.. and it took a Bollywood actor Mr Nana Patekar to awaken the dead lumpensoul of rich moneybags and laid back politicians.

I am not into party politics I am not into activism or groupism I am a street photographer and a street poet but I am a Mumbaikar I have buried both my parents in the soil of Mumbai I have lived in Mumbai since 65 years.. And the life of the poor Maharashtrians the bhajiwalis in my area the Marathi hawkers all at Bandra Bazar has not changed they must have voted for progress and development two names for one entity Mr Modiji our erstwhile PM.

Through my pictures I have to be able to tell the story of marginalized people of my state or my photography is water on a ducks ass.

I cannot manipulate pictures to create a story.. My stories are the pictures I shoot they could sound eloquent even without words.

If you happen to go for a walk towards the MET Cricket Grounds like I do , or if you are waiting for your childs school bus on the road next to Ali Yavar Jung building , the stench of fresh shit fermented urine will kill you , I pity the mothers here , exposed to guys piddling openly on this this mound , the great shithole of Bandra Reclamation,, Strange what I see and smell others in the locality including our new BJP local representatives have not seen it as yet ,,besides why should they the migrant who come and shit here are not their vote banks ..

Even the slumdwellers , pavement homeless use this mound as there are no public toilets on this stretch and this is gods gift for those rickshawalas , who need a toilet when they get up from the womb of the rickshas early in the mornings ,,

And I am not an activist at all I dont belong to any NGO or social group I merely shoot pictures and post it as evidence proof and the garbage this shit hole as stumbling blocks of Modijis Swach Bharat ,,

The Bandra Municipality if given a free hand would love to turn Bandra into a larger shithole ,, by its lack of love for Bandra , apathy neglect ,, and I wonder how many of the Ward Officers in charge of Bandra are really from Bandra ,, And I have nothing to say beyond this point. I have shot pictures videos to no avail.

This is an open space close to the Bandra Bazar Sunni mosque and facing the fish and beef Municipal markets of Bandra Bazar.

And it has never been cleaned, all the junk lies here as an eye sore , and those who go to Namaz see it too , but the residents of Bandra are totally mute they dont say a word simply because it is not their problem .

Having lived in Bandra for over 25 years and this was the first time in 15 years that the Bandra vote shifted from Congress to BJP.. in the main elections.

Here in Bandra one never saw or imagined any other party other than the Congress.

And this time the will of the people walked all over the Congress dreams .and laid low their expectations of talking the people for granted .

Among the corporators of Bandra Bazar it was only Raja Bhai or Mr Rahebar Khan who won the elections as an Independent before Mr Tanvir Patel of Congress ..who laid his stamp of sincerity , personally working round the clock for the improvement of this highly neglected area.

He was accessible humble a local hero among kids being a sportsman and a guiding spirit who never played the religion card .

But ever since the Congress won the Corporation elections this area has gone from bad to worse and I am not a political person but a resident of this area.. and it is the ugliest dirtiest filthiest area from the Bazar Road end ..

The mutton market the chicken market beef market fish market totally in shambles ..absolutely no garbage management of the waste that is generated from the market ,,

My pictures of the open garbage give testimony of neglect and now even with the new local representatives the area is as bad as ever.

The beauty of Bandra Bazar is its universal harmony , no sectarian strife , no muscle flexing by any community ..all religious feasts festivals are symbolic of universal tolerance too Sunnis living amicably with the Shias , Muslims living amicably with the Hindus .

Christians or East Indians the original inhabitants have got a raw deal.. their heritage in bad state , the paver tiles with all its ugliness destroyed the ethnicity of this fishing village called Gaothan.

The Borhas Dalits Jains everyone lives in peace but sadly nobody opens their mouth to see this beautiful area of Bandra going to seed , going to the dogs.

There is no Bandra Bazar Festival that would help in improving its visibility , the only saving grace student photographers , foreigners that come here to shoot Bazar Road . And the graffiti artists that have added their art to the walls of this rustic Bandra .. once Queen of the Suburbs now nothing less than the Queen of Garbage Porn thanks to the apathy of Bandra Municipality .why does Bandra Municipality neglect Bazar Road beats me till date ..Bandra Bazar needs a Bandra person to nurture it and save it from the politician builder nexus ..the ugly repair permission houses , that destroyed the pristine ethos of Bandra Bazar Road .

I have had calls from photographers from abroad who while on a visit want to shoot the Bandra Bazar Garbage dump, there have been Italian French American Dutch British photographers that have shot documented our quintessential

Bandra Bazar Garbage porn.

And as I have words to back up with pictures I narrate to you the sadness of Bazar Road shooting garbage every day on my morning walks and at the same time paying tribute to the ragpickers who do a better job than the paid staff of Bandra Municipality .

And Swach Bharat of our erstwhile Prime Minister Modiji in Bandra Bazar is utter failure unless he drops by via this lane to meet Mr Salim Khan and Mr Salman Khan. during their Ganpati Visarjan,.

She is looking very calm but she can be violent if provoked it took a lot of time to gain her trust and her composure here is peaceful she stays in my area and is always abusing complaining she is easily annoyed as children make catcalls she has a mobile and she tells her abusers she will call Modiji our honoured PM.

Earlier she carried a rock in her hand so her abusers kept away she is a devotee of Goddess Durga she does not open up but she has a grouse against sane society .

I don't know her backstory..if she is in a good mood she smiles at me luckily it was in her good mood I asked a person to take our image .

We share degrees of Madness ...she adds to my story of Madness but I also met a young girl who was mad ...it was a strange sight never forgot her never saw her again.

Even with all my future pending uploads on Khamakhya trip.. if I did not tell you something about Narayan the tea man on the Khamahkya Temple road,,I would be lacking in good manners and breeding .

After I got a place to stay at a Ashram I found there was no toilet facilities at all ,, the toilet was into the jungles passing Narayans tea stall with a bottle of water in hand ,,,and it was tough to say the least,,, there was a newly built toilet but the Guwahati Municipality had locked it up as there was no water since 20 June .

Even after the fair started on 22 June it was still the same ,, I tweeted a picture of the toilet tagging modiji and rajnathji... but than nobody responded simply because I am not part of Modijis army of Trolls on Twitter ...perhaps they get a faster hearing.

Well the next time I was carrying my water bottle for natures call Narayan the tea guy we had become good friends .. called me aside and told me I could use his toilet ,, I asked him if I could pay him something ... al he said no money just pray for my family ,,

And I used to have red Assamese sugar tea cause of my lg injury worsening he began making black sugarless tea for me ,His wife and his 3 Kids Vishal Deb and Gun Gun loved me ..

I spnt most of my time with the Aghoris at the creamation grounds or sitting at Narayans tea stall.'.

It was only when I was leaving Khamakhya Narayan told me that the tea business was for the fair ... he was actually a photographer working in a studio,

I was very surprised and happy too.. Narayan and his wife and children have never seen Mumbai but hope to see it oneday,, like I was seeing Assam first time in 65 years .

Now I come to photography every picture has a story and you can talk about it as a blog ,, as I have renounced myself completely from blogging ,, I call it storytelling .

Touching people healing people .

More than just a ragpicker , she is the garbage woman, she collects garbage from houses , she dumps it at the garbage dump site .

But saleable items she sorts , like plastic bags , cardboard , metal wire , iron pipes etc and she collects all this in huge bags that she places on her head and sells to the second hand bhangar shop.

She is extremely polite to me as I have shot her many times ..her work of sorting is done close to my house ,, and she is a migrant .

They all come from one community called Mehtars,lowest of the low cleaning toilets bathrooms etc and more than men it is the the women in the community that do this job of garbage removal.

She is a real brave woman and she has empowered herself without help from Rahulji or Modiji.

There are a lot of friends who always grumble there is nothing to shoot in Mumbai .. and than it depends on what you want to shoot ..I mean there is more to Mumbai than Mahalaxmi Dhobhi Ghats or the over stated Dharavi slums ,,

Luckily in my case I decided to shoot communities , religion culture rituals hijras and beggars garbage in my backyard.. now I create videos more than a single frame ,,

I can go on shooting Dabbawalas , I know most of them in Bandra , the moment they see me they stop their cycle and start chatting with me ,, more than shooting them I created a human bond with their work and their existence.

I once shot the whippers that beg whipping their bodies , I sometimes take their whip and lash myself too.. so I created a bond of humble humanity with them.

I shoot barbers is an understatement ,, I prolifically shot barbers,

The hijra community I dont shoot as aggressively or insanely as I did in my early years but I do shoot them on video..I give them a lot of respect and they respect me too.

I stopped stalking them but instead they stalk me on the roads in the trains I cant escape them at all.. if I dont have a camera I shoot them on my mobile phone.

Photography is seasonal depending on the feasts .. the next big one is Chehlum 40 days of the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain and I am waiting for my wife to return from Karbala in a few days than decide where to go ,,,maybe to Delhi where my daughter stays nothing is final it happens cosmically ,,

I shoot a garbage video almost every day close to where I stay at Bandra Bazar Road ,,and the Municipality with all the phoren trips that their members take still dont know a shit about garbage management , the only time garbage in my area will disappear when our PM ji Modiji pays a visit to Advocate Ashish Shelars house ..also at Bandra Bazar Road ,,all the BJP volunteers will see that not a single speck of dust meets our PMs hawk eyes ,,,

And here in Bandra where I stay I am sure that the Congress Party will find it very difficult to win the Civic Municipal elections ,, for 15 years they did nothing and the garbage has come home to roost .. I have been shooting Garbage for over 15 years now at Bandra Bezar Bizarre Road.

So these are stray thoughts on photography , people and street photography...my grandkids too think they have shot so much of shit in Bandra that they have lost their enthusiasm and passion for photography ,, but they look forward to the photographers that visit my house ,,,impressing them with their camera shots rather than poetry or any other subject.

They have not got over Manuela Nesci who was at our house a few months back..

I began documenting three stories simultaneously ..Bandra Bazar Market ,Bandra Bazar Fish Market And Bandra Garbage Dumps before Modiji blew the trumpet for Swach Bharat I had covered all the garbage dumps ,, documented them for posterity ,,through pictures and videos.

The Bandra Fish Market is a disaster the roofs will fall one day very soon as they are held on wooden beams , this is the filthiest Municipal fish market and all these years of Congress Rule no ladies toilet for the Koli women.. can you beat that and this was one of the reasons for their utter decimation in Bandra ..Bazar .

Ok I will avoid my political rant I hate politics if it cannot give the poor and the middle class a better life ,, My grandchildren first Marziya got on crazily with the Kolis..Manjula Khankian originally from Chimbai married to a Koli from Worli Gaon would hold her in her lap , and speak in the Koli language and somehow Marziya seemed to understand it ,,Avariya and what not.. Soon Marziya began to shoot them and the Kolis loved her each one wanting her to sit on their laps ,, and this is a strange one they said she bought them good luck.. but nobody gave me free fish not even Manjula ,,

Than came Nerjis s turn initially she kicked up a row when Manjula took her in her arms .. but than gradually they became friends and Nerjis began shooting them since the age of 2 .. and most of the pictures in this series are shot by both of them.

We mostly ate Pomfret Gol Rawas .Prawns .. sometimes I bought Bombil.. and Bangda. But of late I have not bought fish at all...

People grumble there is nothing to shoot in Bandra , but more than grumbling one should focus ,, and you dont need vision a bit of common sense ,, there is so many things to shoot ,, churches , schools , fish market and street life Bandra rustic backlanes , Grotto Crosses ,,,I began shooting the East Indian ethos , the various Christian feasts , Hindu feasts all in Bandra some funerals some weddings on the street .. And this is what I taught both my granddaughters they are not intimidated by your fancy cameras lenses and your so called camera club degrees that you add around the neck of your signature ,,the camera gave them inner strength ,, and Marziya will soon be video shooting the streets she is 7 now ,,

I decided not to shoot a video today ,, I was not poetically inspired so to speak.. the dog belongs to one of the scavengers who feeds him bones meat etc from the dump...

From here I cut through the old beef market via the path leading out from the Bandra Sunni mosque to the MET Tennis courts ,, the sad part is that the Municipality has taken over the open grounds and the tennis courts and as there is no security both the places are in a bad mess somebody broke the tennis pole ..earlier there was the MET security and I can tell you that the Municipality is incapable of running the parks and public gardens ,, they only need places where they can make money and I wish somebody proves me wrong ..

The Municipality needs to be discarded and some new corporate entity should take over our citys civic problems management .. people that are responsible and accountable ,,

The Municipality has done nothing to enhance Modijis Swach Bharat project .. our garbage spilling all over is a eye sore .. and I hope after the inauguration of the Bandra Art Gallery our dynamic PM Modiji should have visited Bandra Bazar Road .. and I am sure the Sanghis would have whitewashed this place and made it spick and span..

Well after the tennis session I walked from MET grounds to Bandstand via Good Luck a free cup of black tea from the owner Hamza bhai.. and I shoot pictures while I walk I paid my salaams to Amitji s picture on the Deewar at Bandra on the way to Bandstand and skipped Carter Road .. returned via Waroda road Bazar road and back passing this dump .. to my house ..

Of late I have been shooting garbage sites as art form and the ragpickers the foot soldiers of Modijis Swach Bharat and perhaps they do a better job in keeping our Bandra clean than Bandra Municipality ...whatever there shortcomings or their habits ,they scavenge the garbage sites and the dirty street corners of Bandra .

I shoot the pain of the Foot Soldiers of Modijis Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.

Every morning while going to play tennis at 7.30 am I pass them.. They have become good friends the Municipal Conservancy staff of Bandra Bazar H Ward.

Sometimes I give them money to buy tea and they accept my humble offerings with a smile.

I don't even know their names but they call me Firoze bhai..

They know I have posted all the garbage videos at my YouTube channel.

The garbage is a part of the scenario it is a permanent fixture once these guys have cleaned it.. It fills up again.

It is cleaned thrice a day by different conservancy teams.

But I am only close to these early morning team.

Sometimes if one of them gets hurt on the garbage dump I give them money to go to the doctor for a septic shot.

All these morning garbage dump cleaners go about clinically with their hazardous job.. This place is a breeding house of disease.

And this dump is part of the Bandra Bazar Municipal market that has a mutton market chicken market buffalo meat and fish vegetable markets..

So all the garbage generated from all these markets including the few resident buildings and some slums is thrown here.

There are two bad shaped bins but it cannot take a ton of garbage at all.

What this place really needs is good civic management a CC TV a security guard and slapping of instant fines to serial garbage throwers.

Fines as stiff like the Plastic ban fines.

I promise you there will be systematic garbage removal.

Even hawkers selling sugar cane juice on the main road of Bandra dump their garbage here.

The stink stench comes from the chicken and fish left overs.

You can't pass by this way.. It is so bad.

I stay 2 buildings away from this dump.

We have a lady hired by the building who collects segregates our garbage. removes it too.

But over all Bandra Bazar road garbage dump is an eyesore and is like a pigstye.

I have shot over 200 Videos but the situation remains grim.

So gradually I began shooting garbage as Fine Art.

Mind you this is one of the most famous garbage dumps.

Thanks to the blessings of BMC and our foot in the mouth local representatives.

Photography is almost a delusional question what came first camera or photography ,, the dumbfucked will say Vision.. and get fucked by his own Vision.. luckily my vision is encapsulated as garbage happy .. I see garbage I shoot garbage , and Garbage follows me intrinsically wherever I go..it follows me to Ajmer to Lucknow and other cities ..I taught my grandkids photography forcing them to shoot Garbage ..and this was much before Modiji dreamed of Swach Bharat .. much before he unceremoniously grabbed the Broom of the Aam Admi Party..

Now all my photographer friends from abroad want to shoot the iconic garbage dump in my backyard ,,,one of them says it bought her luck she got married to her best friends boyfriend .. he dumped his ex in the garbage of life ..So I was not surprised when both my Malang mentors asked me to teach them photography.. I made them first tie a black cloth on their eyes and told them to go on shooting ,, darkness and create images from nothingness ,, they are both great shots now ,,but they refused to teach me exorcism.. or dua tawiz.. they said I have to wait as I am the lowest step in the hierarchy of monks or Malangs.

Photography made boisterously talkative ,,I talk soliloquize my inner angst it is called blogging I do it with my pictures and dont beg borrow or steal another mans picture ,, this is called original content , I shoot and create my own videos too..

I do it with my DSLR and my indefatigable mobile phone ,,HTC Desire 826 ,, the poor mans photoshooting mobile .. and shooting pictures is best way of healing yourself and others ,,photography I found even after shooting garbage people peeing on the roads could make you a poet and a painter of light...

And from a Malang I can seamlessly become a Sadhu when I go and meet my Naga Sadhu Guru from Juna Akhara , and I have taught him Photography too... on my Canon DSLR.. he loves it , gets excited like a little child goes in raptures seeing what he shot on the camera monitor ..

I did try to teach photography to the deformed beggar at Dhai Djinn Ka Jhopda .Ajmer . much before his wife eloped with another beggar leaving him with two kids .. Life can be fucked cruel even when you are a helpless beggar ,, now he hates photography I dont blame him , I unfriend him on Facebook and Whats Up.. he was getting to be a pain in the wrong side of my rectum.

I have been shooting the Eid Namaz ,, both Ramzan and Bakra Eid or Eid Ul Zuha every year at the Bandra Station,,,it is an extension of the proceedings at the Bandra Station Mosque and is organized by them as the Mosque gets fully packed on this auspicious occasion ,.

I have been shooting the Eid namaz much before the Bandra Skywalk made its appearance and from the skywalk you get a great view ...otherwise we stood up on the railings of the bus stop to get the top shots ,

Those early days a lot of great photographers dropped by to shoot the station namaz ,, my favorite was late Mr Anil Bhartiya photo journalist...I miss him nowadays ,,

Much of the motley crowd of photographers are photo journalists from various dailies and I had a great rapport with a few of them like Pradip Dhivar , Nitin Sonawane .Saatish Malavde and others ,.

And we met twice a year covering both the Eids .

This year none of the above were shooting the Eid Namaz at Bandra Station skywalk,

This year Eid Ul Fitr namaz was made tough by the Mumbai cops of Bandra and Khar they were very strict and did not want photographers crowding the skywalk for security reasons ,,

This was perhaps the first time in years that the senior most Dr Dorje Cherring IPS took two rounds of the skywalk with a huge contingent of cops ,, he knew us all smiled but the rules could not be changed and accredited photo journalists from powerful dailies too had to shoot without complaining .

I had taken a corner as I was the first one to arrive on the skywalk . despite my serious leg injury that I had in Khamkhya Assam recent shoot .

I shoot the namaz barefeet as a tradition of respect for the namazis praying directly under the skywalk from where I shoot .

And almost all the Miya s from Bandra know me as I am the only Miya shooting the Eid Namaz regularly ,,,other Miyas maybe shooting it but not as colorfully dressed like me ,,

I shot the namaz story board this year I left early and spare the photo journalists their manipulated forcing kids to hug called Eid Hugging pictures instead I moved out shoot the Eid in th Shastri Nagar slums and a huge horde of Muslim beggars ,

And those non Muslim tribal beggars that clumsily wear hijabs to pass of as Muslims and I know most of them as I was shooting them when they were toddlers carried on a sling to the waist of other child beggars ,, and they know I know ,, who they are .. they give me a grin.. lol

This year I walked a lot .. limping my way barefeet in dirty slushy waters of the Bandra slums and back home ,,,

I did shoot Garbage outside both the Shiv Sena and NCP offices close to the Shastri Nagar Municipality parking lot of dumpers .

Frankly the Bandra Municipality does not much care for Muslim slums , I know slumdwellers who pay out of their pockets to get the garbage removed .

Modijis Swach Bharat is a total failure in all the Muslim slums and the eponymous Bandra Bazar Road the battleground for reclaiming the Municipal Corporation seat from Congress Mr Tanvir Patel.

So just a few months before the elections all the big guns of the BJP will arrive and blow the bugle of Acche Din v/s the Existing Dustbin.

And Advocate Ashish Shelar the blue eyed poster boy of BJP Bandra will try to steer this ward to victory to make a hat trick..at all 3 levels of Governance of our city .

Ms Poonam Mahajan our erstwhile MP rules here by remote control.. that has been generously placed in Advocate Ashish jis hands ,, we have not seen Madam in our area for a very very long time maybe at flag hoisting only at the Bandra Reclamation promenade ,,

Bandra Mornings

21 days national lockdown.

I am the only person in my family that steps out of the house in the mornings to buy fresh bread brun for the kids vegetables and other essential items .

Sliced bread Amul butter cheese is out of stock.

Provision stores are open but they are not ordering fresh stocks .

Rates of fruits vegetables grains pulses is on the steeper side .

There is no exodus of migrants in our area like Delhi .

Shocking to see those videos and images the think tank of Modiji has certainly lost it .

The lockdown is important but its execution and implementation reminds me of the disastrous lines at the banks during demonetisation .

People are minting money selling masks that cost Rs 8 and are being sold for Rs 30 at chemist shops .

Annother two weeks to go ..however people are still roaming on the streets without fear ..even childrenn are moving around .

Our police here in Bandra is very lenient they need to cane a few rogues encouraging jaywalking .

Beggars are having a tough times as the local mosques churches temples are closed .

So the beggars are seen at the market square .

Animals are feeling the aftermath of the lockdown ..stray cats and dpgs .

Milk is being supplied so is gaz cylinders ..some housing societies are making it tough fot the senior citizens.

My beat is Bazar and back I have not gone to the other areas of Bandra .

My work is shut the film studios film making is shut .

Our Bandra Municipality or our local representatives that won because of the Modi Wave only do not care whether the Municipal conservancy staff have safety shoes masks or gloves , and these foot soldiers who carry on Modijis Swach Bharat dream suffer in silence ,, it is ironical the presstitudes go ga ga showing a celebrity sweeping streets or a politician using a broom I challenge them to come to this garbage dump and clean the garbage here ,, I will kiss their hands in humility and gratitude ,, I will shoot their videos and pictures too and glorify them honestly ..

I was shocked that he began shouting at me for taking this picture of the garbage bin on the road obstructing traffic and he was drunk , grumbling about the Municipality making him work long hours and I think he had hurt himself pushing this garbage bin so he was taking out his anger on me ,,

Strangely I have shot his pictures earlier and shown their hardship working without safety shoes no masks no gloves .and the outsourcing of the BMC is totally misplaced .. they have drunks in their service .. but most of the people I have shot barring a few are humble and nice .

And I hope the Bandra Municipality takes all this into account .. and I mean because they are overworked they let the garbage lying on the roads and Modijis Swach Bharat will be a failure because of the Municipal staff attitude ..I dont get a kick shooting garbage but it is there in open display overflowing the bins .

And if this Transit Camp at Gen Kumar Vaidya Marg has garbage bins inside the camp why is garbage being thrown on the road and is being used as an alternative garbage site .

I hope my erstwhile MLA Advocate Ashish Shelar brings this and the abusive municipal staff to the notice of Bandra Municipality .

For last two days I had been completing 7 km , but this morning I had good company Subhash Singh and Santosh Singh , Santosh walks very brisk and I try to match pace with him , however I started my walk at 7 am in 1 hour 42 minutes I completed 8 km.. I walk with my keds for about an hour and than walk barefeet for the rest of my walking stint.. I feel more free walking barefeet ... My keds in just 3 months have given up on me ,, as I have really slave driven them .

I only use my unbranded keds during walking.. I hope to buy a new pair soon..

After my walk I took a video of Imran Qureishi a convent educated beef butcher and eldest son of Intezar Qureishi who has a buffalo meat shop at Bandra Bazar Road Market .

I need to shoot a video a day.. of the common man and the uncommon problems we face everyday ,, and I shot garbage , it pulls me like a magnet and I wonder why does not the Bandra Municipality have a beat Marshal at these garbage sites catch the serial offenders who litter , they throw garbage on the ground instead of the garbage bin .. why does not the Bandra Municipality place a CC Tv at such filthy sites , than I think the gardalus of Bandra , the drugaddicts will steal that too.

This garbage dump at the Bazar Road is a Adda , meeting place of drunks drugaddicts because of the hooch shop outside this dump.. Our esteemed MLA Advocate Ashish Shelar stays two buildings away from this dump but that does not matter to Bandra Municipality they have taken a solemn vow to destroy the Swach Bharat movement of Modiji.

Their supervisors come every morning including their officials but can do nothing , they are totally clueless , 20 years BMC under the erstwhile Shiv Sena has failed to make Mumbai Clean or Green.. and the public hardly cares .. they make it more difficult , throwing garbage on every street corner .

What beats me why dont our Ministers find a solution to garbage disposal and better garbage management ,, we had a Bhumi Pujan here at this dump for ladies toilet , the place was so clean you wont believe it and the next day it was back to normal.. and do people read our blogs ,, they only read newspapers that wont write about all this .. they write glorify the four youth from Kalyan .. who went to join the ISIS to kill Shias Yezdis Armenians rape murder sodomize ,, I am sure they did not go to play marbles ,.

I read only Hindustan Times .. we dont watch TV ,, at all NO NEWS ,, NO BREAKING NEWS ,,

And I carry a bottle of water with me I pour it on my head after the walk to cool my head .. and focus on the road ahead ,, I have no car no scooter or bike I use public transport I shoot life on a fucked Lumia 640 that my son Asif Shakir bought from Flipkart , the worst online portal that had twice dumped defective phones on us .. they give me a defective phone and after one month ask me to take it to a service center I refused I asked them to send a Techie to my house I am a senior citizen 62 years old I am not going to Saki Naka .

I have told my son not t buy me a single item from Flipkart and I hope for once their bosses Mr Sachin Bansal and Mr Binny Bansal read this ,, they have the most demeaning customer care , insensitive , repetitive who dont know how to respond to a customers problem on Twitter and I am sure their only agenda is to make money more money and both the Xiaomi Notes my son bought from them were defective and replaced ,, can you beat that ..

Met two interesting people at Chilla of Baba Gor Kurla East

First Behroze Shroff a Parsi lady devotee of Baba Gor since 60 years she has made films on the Siddi race and is a well known authority on Siddi culture.. She was influenced by Baba Maqbul who was a great teacher and Murid of Baba Gor his progeny are the caretakers of this spiritually serene Chilla at Kurla East.

The Siddis were employed by Rajas Maharajahs Nawabs they took care of the royal stables royal pets wild animals.

They were in charge of the Maharajahs army ..

The Siddis were in charge of the domestic aspects of the Maharajahs palace and court .

They were well looked after respected but the end of the Princely state ushered the doom of the Siddis economically..

As the Dhamal was on progress I could hardly talk on this subject.

The next person I met and took for a Siddi is an African American Jasmine from Chicago researching on the Siddis is ward of Behroze.

She did not say much but obliged when I asked a picture next to her.

All the Parsis attached to this Chilla are beautiful people from different walks of life all devotees Baba Gor Siddi Saint from Ratanpore Gujarat near Bharuch.

Their ancestors were devotees of Baba Gor I am thankful that the Parsis and the Mujawir Sab allowed me to shoot the Dhamal and Goma but insisted that I don't post pictures on Facebook..

My aim. with this documentary as I am not a Siddi historian is to throw light on the modern progeny of the Siddis their dreams aspirations I am sure with good education sports dance skils the Siddis would rise and become an Indomitable race Pride of India and their African roots .

In one of my Siddi videos at Sandal of Baba Gor I have appealed to our PM Mr Narendra Modiji to uplift the Siddi community with free education and with their

natural born skills in sports dancing they could be not just the pride of Gujrat but all of India.
