A Vermont Talc and Timber Heisler crosses over Texas Falls on the Otter Creek and Ripton, an On30 model railroad.
this is for my photography class, we had to photograph something with a letter of the alphabet in it.
Hadley’s son mailed him this locomotive for Christmas. It goes as a great accent for the Fort Benton depot print.
Having Hadley model reminded me of how much fun we had when I was on Flickr before. Glad 2025 gave me the impetus to start over.

The Miniature Railroad’s story began in 1919 with a man named Charles Bowdish of Brookville, PA. Originally a holiday display on the second floor of his house, it moved to the Buhl Planetarium in 1954, and ultimately found its final home at Carnegie Science Center in 1992.
After spending a day photographing trains on the NS Lake Erie District -- the original Nickel Plate Road line between Cleveland and Buffalo, New York -- in Lake County, Ohio, we adjourned to a friend's basement where he models, in part, the NKP.
This is the new ALC-42 Charger locomotive from Bachmann. It's in the Day one paint scheme and is a limited edition. And with any new locomotive you have to have the right swag to go along with it. Check out the mail call video here youtu.be/0ReXLnM2blk
The Garden-Modeltrain (1:16 Scale) of a close friend!
Yes I’m still building models, but I spend a lot of time with sorting parts, never ending projects and other stuff. But today is the day I want to share my lattest build a German V100 locomotive from the 70s or so, way back before I was born. I really like the shape and color combination of the original.
I used first dark red and light bluish grey for the model, but the grey contrast was to strong for my taste and I took parts from my childhood and worked with light grey which is much softer and a bit grimy and dirty what fits better for such an old diesel engine. For my second V100 I chose the colors dark blue und tan from the palette. Also a common color combination for this time of period of German trains.
The roof was also light bluish grey in the beginning, but it looks so cheap I was so hyped about the first leaks early this year about the Mando helmet which contains this two parts to make the roof in metallic silver color possible. I also got 1x4 tiles from a friend which will be soon release in the $25 James Bond car.
I’m not sure, than I will finished my next build, but be patient, I will be back for sure.

Extensive track layout and free rides around the park for kids, even big kids (parents)
All trains are built and run by their owners, quite an engineering feat.
I bought a GoPro Hero 3+ for Christmas, and I've found the perfect use for it. Come take a short tour of my model railroad.
By the way, the original footage is perfect resolution and not choppy..video uploads to Flickr suffer from file compression and who knows what else. Still pretty cool though, I think you'll agree.
