The Monashee Pacific was a proposed railway in the 1950's that was never built. The Edmonton Model Railway Association, located at Fort Edmonton Park, has created a world where this railway exists. The level of detail is incredible, from the towns, the trains and the people, no minute detail has been omitted. There is even someone taking a crap in the woods with a bear approaching him.

I could have spent days photographing this incredible layout. I have only included the highlights.

Sunday the 26th was the last day the Gadsden-Pacific Division Toy Train Operating Museum was open before the summer closing. Our grand-nephew and his family came to visit on the three day Memorial Day weekend, so we had an opportunity to take them. I have a feeling we'll be going back once they reopen in the fall.

411 had an issue getting up the steep grade at Mink Hollow reported by one of the workers at Mink Hollow Station so the mechanic from the Diesel Shop traveled to Summitville to tend to the 411.

This is a modified 30' Roundhouse flat car lettered for Canadian National road # 270 with a caboose body. The deck has been weathered to simulate well worn wood and rear steps have been cut into the deck of the car. Additional details have been added.. The car has metal wheels and Kadee #5 couplers front and back . This car is one of a set of thirteen variations of this flat car.

This model is a HO scale Proto 52' gon Lettered for the Pataps Co. & Back Rivers #172. The car is custom weathered, has metal wheels and Kadee #5 couplers. The load is a concrete pipe load from LifeLike Scene Masters modified and mounted on a wooden deck with wood spacing and wire rope tie downs. The load is removable.

The boys put up a banner at Fallowfield station for Memorial Day. And it just so happened that a military train came along with some specially painted unit and ran through it. You can see this and other trains like it at the Arnprior Train Show June 03 & 04 2023,

This is a Gem Models O scale IC 2-4-4T that I bought as a pile of parts on Ebay a few years ago. I soldered / reassembled all the pieces to have this when completed. It runs good (O scale two rail operation.) The finish is brass paint with clear finish over raw brass.
