Having some fun with long exposures, we drove Georgie's train around his layout with no light except for the EOT and the headlight, and got some exciting results.

The plan for the railroad. There is an oval on the zero elevation level, a climb up to a yard, and a branchline to a mine. An amazing amount of content given the small space. I'm using the TT scale (1:120) sizing (3' x 6') for the layout, but doing it in N scale (1:160), so the curves will be broader and have improved reliability.

At Hereford there is a small yard and the Stone Container Corporation facility served by the Apache Railway which I have used modeler's license to relocate to NM.
Newest addition to the power roster - a Bachmann RS-3. I added corner handrails, angled numberboards, and correct horns, then a bit of light weathering
CH and FR caboose on the end of Schuylkill Valley train # 901south, crossing the Schuylkill River at the village of Coalbrook enroute to St. Barbara yard.
CB&Q XM-2 combo door boxcar built with Chad Boas resin car sides, Branchline ends and roof, Accurail underframe, finished with Model Master paint, Jerry Glow, Microscale, and Sunshine decals, weathering with acrylic washes, oil paint, and airbrush overspray.
SVRR MP15 switcher #23 ready to take CH and FR caboose #2 into the city of New Essen on my N scale Schuylkill Valley Railroad.
A low light shot, but a great scene. The road ends at the end of the layout, but provides a great view when you look down the road. We'll have to get this section lit better
