I wasn't sure what this Model was, however it has the US Steel Logo on it. I originally thought it was a Auger.
According to Chuck (See his Comment below) it is a Hulett, which was used in the Great Lakes to unload Taconite from Ships on the Great Lakes, which transported the Ore from the Iron Mines. Please see his comment below.
I have updated my Narrative per Chucks comments.

Pat Gorman has an interest in railroads and in ships, including the ill-fated White Star liner Titanic. The Titanic sank on its maiden voyage after striking an iceberg in April 1912 in the North Atlantic. Gorman, who once owned a hobby shop, decided to create an HO scale model of the Titanic, in part because he knew that certain items he needed, e.g., people, were easily available in HO scale, which is 1:87 (3.5 mm to 1 foot of the prototype)
Although the model remains a work in progress, it is substantially complete. It is shown sitting on a picnic table at Headlands Beach State Park near Mentor, Ohio. To show the size of Titanic, Gorman brought along an HO scale model of an F7 locomotive painted in the livery of the Bessemer & Lake Erie, one of his favorite railroads.

I want one of these! When it comes to model railway layouts, I’m still a kiddie at heart. Big O-Gauge Lionel trains were way, way beyond the family budget.
Another shot of a section of my model railroad, all of it shot indoors without the benefit of Photoshop.
TT scale (1:120) train model scene in a virtual environment made from a sceenshot of the computer game 'Homefront: The Revolution'. The original screenshot was provided by Xanvast (www.flickr.com/photos/xanvast). The Mack truck on the left hand side is a TT scale model made by Ukranian manufacturer RailTT. The entire scene was inspired by 'Davies Warehouse' on the H0 scale layout of Robert Smaus (www.bobsgardenpath.com/Davies.html).
