This model is a young and fresh model I've met thru another model I've worked with on ModelMayhem.com.
This model is very professional and motivated. She delivers very strong image full of life and dynamism.

There is a village called Curepipe on the island of Mauritius (off the East coast of Africa) that specializes in the manufacture of these model ships. This specimen about 60 cm long. It has travelled the world with us over the last 30 years or so.
The blue water has been added by me.
The 1993 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance at Rochester, Michigan.
I've been to several Concours shows since this one, and I've not seen a model such as this one since.
