Marzipan modelling which was part of my City and Guilds 7900 design in sugarcraft. I really enjoyed making this except for the stick insect which gave me a lot of problems propping him up and making the stick hands and legs.
Katie found me on Model Mayhem, said she was coming up from Charleston and wanted to shoot. That's been happening more often in the past year, and I kind of like it. The process of looking for models is fun, but it's a nice change to have someone look for you. Especially when you're a pretty lazy individual (if you couldn't tell by my sporadic, non-existent posting schedule). We got a few good photos in before we called it quits, the sun having drained us. Hopefully the summer is full of messages like this.

Here's the classic example of showing the front and rear view of the car at the same time.
My intent was to have a "snapshot" quality to the picture. Also the feeling of a late summer afternoon, when the heat of the day had passed.

One of the most stunning, sexy, and WOW models I have ever done a photo shoot with!! What do you think of this lovely, petite, sexy French Canadian that I did a shoot with in Las Vegas? Do you like her tied up with a couple of neck ties on this amazing red couch? Like how she is showing off her hot little body and teasing the camera?
In this series I've pushed the Sony a7R III to (and closely over) it's dynamic range limits during a sunset at the lake.
Developed with Capture One 21 (shadows +100 / highlights -100 / exposure has been lifted in most pictures as well).
Some pictures might therefore not be as sharp and detailed as if exposed normally, so please do not blame the camera or the lens. Both have done a good job under these extreme lighting conditions and the shadow recovery worked very good in most situations.
Goal was to get an authentic atmosphere without any flashlight, not to get the sharpest most detailed results. I'm not a fan of flash lights and unnatural light sources.
Anyway, you wouldn't even take note if I wouldn't have unlocked high resolution for my Flickr photos to show you my pictures at 100% :)
