Miniatürk, Istanbul.
Miniatürk is a miniature park situated at the north-eastern shore of Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. It was opened May 2, 2003. Miniatürk covers a total area of 60,000 m2 (650,000 sq ft). It is one of the world's largest miniature parks with its 15,000 m2 (160,000 sq ft) model area. Miniatürk has 40,000 m2 (430,000 sq ft) of open space, 3,500 m2 (38,000 sq ft) of covered area, 2,000 m2 (22,000 sq ft) of pools and waterways, and a parking lot with a capacity of 500 vehicles.
The park contains 122 models done in 1/25th scale. 58 of the structures are from Istanbul, 52 are from Anatolia, and 12 are from the Ottoman territories that today lie outside of Turkey. Also featured are historic structures like the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus and the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus (now Bodrum). Additional space is reserved for potential future models.

Enjoyed painting him, though I was going a bit goggle-eyed at all the freehand patterning by the end!
Got him done just in time for Salute, where he got through to the final round of judging.

We have new neighbors! A herd of 7 miniature donkeys, mostly females, has moved into the field next to the house. We are utterly charmed! They are adorable and very friendly.

This photograph is part of a set that has been created to celebrate the opening of South Tyneside Council’s new leisure centre, Haven Point, on 28 October. It focuses in particular on life along the foreshore at South Shields during the 1950s but also includes a few images from further down the coast.
South Shields has long been a popular seaside resort and also has a proud industrial heritage. Times have changed, though, and many of the old industries such as shipbuilding and coal mining have disappeared. Rather than stand still and accept this change in fortunes, South Tyneside Council is pressing ahead with an ambitious vision to transform the Foreshore, Town Centre and Riverside areas into vibrant destinations. Haven Point is a key part of this change.
Tyne & Wear Archives and South Tyneside Local Studies Library have a vital role to play in this. As South Shields is regenerated and forever changed the Archives and Local Studies serve as its memory. We keep alive a window into the town’s past, preserving the history of people, places and industries that no longer exist. South Shields must look forward but its sense of direction will be lost if it forgets where it came from.

This dress is made from a pattern in the Miniature Crochet book by Roz Walters. It's 1:12 scale patterns.
Mine doesn't fit the doll I had intended it for, but it will fit my other doll I think. One of these times I'll get photos of the dolls I am knitting/crocheting for. If it doesn't fit, I'll just make a little wire hanger and display it instead.
Crochet with Collade UK yarn, sadly they're out of business now.
What I got from KL. No postage costs yay... I unpacked everything and managed to fit it all into one box, reducing it to 1/8 the original size :P
An entry in the miniature garden class at the 2012 Philadelphia Flower Show. I don't remember the exact dimensions but it was close to 12" x 18". Loved at the great details!
This was a challenge on the MicroMinis group, and I purchased the box and kits from SDK Miniatures and really enjoyed putting them together. Gluing the skirt on the 144th scale chair was a bit fiddly to say the least, as I was glueing the skirt and the chair to everything in sight but not too each other. Fingers are just too big for this scale sometimes.
