Mighty Minis is one of the UK's most popular Mini championships and in 2013 they will join the superb Brands Hatch Mini Festival race schedule. The championship is renowned for attracting novice drivers as they make their first steps on the motorsport ladder. The cars are based around road legal Minis built from 1991-1996 with a few safety and reliabilty modifications. ................. The thrilling Super Mighty Minis are another addition to the race content for the 2013 Brands Hatch Mini Festival. The championship is the bigger brother of the Mighty Minis series catering for more powerful 1.3 litre spec pocket rockets. The championship is designed for drivers with at least a year of competitive racing under their belts.
On may way home from Nutley, I found this original British-made and British-engineered Mini (with left-hand drive!) parked in a driveway along Watchung Avenue in the Brookdale section of Bloomfield, New Jersey.
The Mini, in production throughout the sixties and seventies, became as much a symbol of the United Kingdom in the '60s as the Beatles and James Bond. The Mini had a sport version engineered by John Cooper, predating the Golf GTI by about a decade.

Remember Telly Savalas muttering on in his song "If" a picture paints a thousand words? Well quite simply this picture tells you why we love MINIS. This is our mates Chris and Jax being chased by our mates Scream and Pixie being chased by us in The Pyrenees. Cars, adventure, mates - three of the thousand words for you!
This Guinea Pig was rescued a few weeks ago by my girlfriend. She had been abandoned on an unused farm (the pig, not the girlfriend) until the farm owner discovered them and alerted a local animal rescue. A total of 19 pigs were removed from the farm and two came home with us. We knew one was pregnant, and yesterday she presented us with this miniature copy of herself - now known as 'Pastiche'.
As you can see, baby guinea pigs are born fully furred and 'ready to rumble'.

The 8th of januari I had a photoshoot with a few Mini Coopers from the NewMiniClub. It was a really exciting day, with some great photographs as result!

This is the little mini I made for redcleo for the second round of flickr's Mini Quilt in a Bag swap. redcleo sent me a charm pack from Sanae's "Twiggy" line for Moda. The task was to create a mini quilt using a bit of each of the 34 different fabrics. This design is called Roman Stripe.
