The championship is renowned for attracting novice drivers as they make their first steps on the motorsport ladder. The cars are based around road legal Minis built from 1991-1996 with a few safety and reliabilty modifications. ................. The thrilling Super Mighty Minis are another addition to the race content for the 2013 Brands Hatch Mini Festival. The championship is the bigger brother of the Mighty Minis series catering for more powerful 1.3 litre spec pocket rockets. The championship is designed for drivers with at least a year of competitive racing under their belts.

Mini Swap Knitting bag by ~Kristie

Pattern: Miniature Knitting Bag Ornaments

Needles: Size 7 US

Yarn: Bag is made from Cascade 220 superwash; mini hanks are various weights of sock and lace weight yarn.

I made this for a mini ornament swap we did at our Knit Knight holiday party. I ended up with Shanda's beautiful sweater, and she ended up with this bag.

Row 1 & 2; K1, P1

I made mini-hanks of yarn by wrapping laceweight and sockweight yarn around a book and then carefully twisting it. I used toothpicks for the knitting needles with beads glued to the top.

This was quick, easy and tons of fun. I should make one for myself.

I had also visited this location for a twilight photo to enter in a Mini Cooper enthusiast site's monthly photo contest. I'm happy to report that this photo won against some good competition. Now I just need to work on my flash setup skills; thank heavens for Strobist!
