Mighty Minis is one of the UK's most popular Mini championships and in 2013 they will join the superb Brands Hatch Mini Festival race schedule. The championship is renowned for attracting novice drivers as they make their first steps on the motorsport ladder. The cars are based around road legal Minis built from 1991-1996 with a few safety and reliabilty modifications. ................. The thrilling Super Mighty Minis are another addition to the race content for the 2013 Brands Hatch Mini Festival. The championship is the bigger brother of the Mighty Minis series catering for more powerful 1.3 litre spec pocket rockets. The championship is designed for drivers with at least a year of competitive racing under their belts.

Seen today at the Georgian College Auto Show in Barrie, On. We got there about 10:15 and just had time to do a measured tour of the exhibits before the rain started in earnest. Nice show and worth the effort to get there and support the students tht put it on. No sales or manufacturers reps there to bug you and acces to most of the cars.
This it the all electric Mini Cooper E which has just come off a one year test in New Jersey. They let us sit in it and showed us where the batteries are housed, but wouldn't show us the engine compartment.
