Jim helped Glynis pick out this car in late 1973, at a used car lot in Athens, Ohio. It stayed with Mark & Glynis until they moved to Chicago in 1975. Here, the grille is still a bit blackened from an engine fire (caused by Mark's use of gasoline to trace a vacuum leak--put out before too much damage was done!). Note a friend's Porsche 914 in the background.
It is the Chinese god of wealth mini 3D model. About 2" tall and its a real task to put up given my butter fingers.

What is your dream car? Well mine is a Mini Cooper S. I don't care too much for a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Maserati, I just want a small car.
My Scion xA at the moment is a great commuter, but when I finish college, I want to be able to purchase my own car with my own hard working money.
I may not own a drivable Mini Cooper, but at least I got a Mini Cooper for my 21st birthday. Elizabeth is awesome.
I am totally besotted with this little darling's face, one minute she's Jean Harlow, then Marilyn Monroe, then Grace Kelly. With curls loosened and wearing Audrey Hepburn's little black dress and Bogues Vogues ostrich feather hat, and a Starry night earrings.

The mini haiku postbox has been around with Alan Summers as a haiku inhabitance at various venues including The Art Supermarket, nearly at a Police Station (but they were scared of poetry), and near to the famous Hovis Hill a.k.a. Gold Hill for the great little Gold Hill Fair this year!
