Found this bad boy (vise not included) through Craigslist for $350. It takes R8 collets and seems like it will do what I need it to do for mitering and for machining some parts for jigs.
I need a 5/8" R8 collet so I can use my paragon hole saw arbors, but until then this works pretty well actually.
