A friend's recent acquisition. Built in Belgium in 1978, first registered in the UK in 1982. 1100cc engine.
The 2013 Mini Cooper comes with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine good for 121 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual with hill-start assist is standard, and a six-speed automatic is optional. Mini estimates a manual-equipped hatchback will go from zero to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds . EPA-estimated fuel economy is 29 mpg city/37 mpg highway and 32 mpg combined

Decided on a mini dress seeing as I haven't worn one for a while. Thought I'd wear some nice patterned tights with it that attracted some nice comments I thought the red petticoat was a nice touch to complete the outfit.:-)
Back in 2010, the Fresno Bee ran a feature article about my LEGO christmas display. I built these two small cameras as thank you presents for the field photographer and the photo editor. The photographer was pleasantly surprised and chose the mini TLR without hesitation.

One of my favorit Sets is this 6066 „Robin Hood“ Outpost.
White-bellied Woodstars are tiny! They weigh between 3.8 - 4 grams. Woodstars also sound like bees or wasps as they fly, so the other hummingbirds tend to ignore/avoid them. They are fun to watch, as they seem to just glide smoothly into the feeder as the other birds were doing all sorts of crazy acrobatics.
The White-bellied Woodstars usually did not come into the large gazebo where we had the multi-flash set- ups. So this is natural light with some fill-flash from my camera.

Sometimes you just find things that can only be described as 'the best thing ever'!!
This Volkswagon Bus has been shortened enough that the front & rear wheels are just over a foot apart. In talking with the Owner, he told me that he has had this VW for 25 years and it is, other than the shortening, all original. When asked by someone else if it would pop a wheelie, the answer was "yes" with a large smile on his face. The only problem was that the wheelie's routinely tears out the rear end. He also said that he is in the finishing stages of building another one. I got some contact info but don't think he's willing to part with even the second one...
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and combined with Photomatix to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Was at the annual church retreat this weekend, so not a lot of time to create tonight. Bad lighting yet again! My apologies!!!
Does anybody else think this could use a few stitched leaves? Now that I'm returning to it after a night's sleep, I think it needs something. (Only bad thing about not getting to create stuff before Sunday - no time to let it incubate!)

This was parked with a VI LP640, and as I walked up toward them, I had a mini spaz I was so excited lol. The F40 is such a crazy car.
Shooting with the 50mm can yield fantastic results and can also give you hell. So much fun though.
