This's Tiramisù.
She's wearing Cocotte's stock outfit.

We bought some mini white pumpkins to decorate our Thanksgiving table this year. I thought I'd give focus stacking a try to see how it works out.

Parisian, built to the same scale as set 10230: Mini Modulars. I took a lot of influence from other builders on this one, so credit where it's due: the front roof design is a very gently modified version of Chricki's brilliant design on Rebrickable, and the general window spacing/proportions are based on fgee's model.
I realized only as I was editing the photos that I made the dumpster's lid light gray instead of the dark gray that it should be. Oh well!
This has actually been built for a while; I just never photographed and posted it. Nothing like a little social distancing to help find things to do.
The concept is simple: I wanted to contextualize the mini modular buildings that my partner and I have been designing and building, and I wanted it to be an equally modular and expansive system to keep up with out growing mini city, as well as simple and inexpensive to build large amounts of. Here's what I came up with! They connect with a pair of Technic pins on each side, just like the modulars.
Getting a modest set up going for a space hanger. Tried using the City road plates (60304), and while not perfect, I think they are a good inexpensive way to get one started.
The original ship is an alt build of 10497-1 Galaxy Explorer by @bummionterra Check out his awesome alt build set which includes a base, moon buggy crane, and droids in addition to the ship on Rebrickable.
I started with his base design and then added a different front landing gear, some greeblies to the canopy and fuselage, and a more detailed cockpit. I'm really happy with the results. Since I don't have much confidence yet in my ability to build a whole new ship from scratch I've found this to be a good exercise in improving my skills.

I felt the urge to work on something quick and fun last night, so I started this little mini quilt. Jessica was working with these gorgeous Pat Bravo Pure Elements solids this past weekend. She happened to throw out quite a few scraps (you know, those ones that most normal people throw out, but I save!). I dug through them and found 5 small rectangles of each of the colors she used. In her defense I think the biggest scrap was 1.25" by 3.5"? Some were as small as .75"x3.25". I have a problem with scraps!
Hopefully this isn't totally weird, haha! I simply love these fabrics, but shouldn't really be buying them right now. This was a way for me to satisfy my hunger!
I finished it off with Heath by Alexander Henry, a new favorite, and this dark gray JoAnns print, an old favorite. I was finally able to play around with fun organic quilting lines and I have to say, despite how time consuming it is, I love the result!
This little mini quilt is destined for my side table!
Mini Clubman John Cooper Works 2018
Based on the BMW UKL2 platform. At the time of its debut, the Mini Clubman was the largest Mini ever manufactured by the brand, measuring 427 cm long and 180 cm wide. It abandons the previous model's asymmetrical door layout for a standard four-door design, but it retains the rear barn doors.
The top-of-the-line John Cooper Works version produces 170kW from the BMW B48A20 engine, and has the ALL4 four-wheel-drive system as standard. The sprint to 100km/h takes 6,3 s and top speed is 238 km/h.
