Be sure that the patient remains completely fixated on politics. Arguments, political gossip, and obsessing on the faults of people they have never met serves as an excellent distraction from advancing in personal virtue, character, and the things the patient can control. Make sure to keep the patient in a constant state of angst, frustration and general disdain towards the rest of the human race in order to avoid any kind of charity or inner peace from further developing. Ensure that the patient continues to believe that the problem is “out there” in the “broken system” rather than recognizing there is a problem with himself.

General Description
The Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts is a Brock University campus that houses four departments in the Faculty of Humanities. Though it is mostly an academic building, it is a pillar of the arts community in downtown St. Catharines.
Prior to its renovation in 2015, this building used to be the Canadian Haircloth Company.
The building is easily accessible from St. Paul Street by following the path next to the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre. Alternatively, it can be accessed by the front entrance on the side of the Meridian Centre.
The Marilyn I. Walker is mostly used for academic purposes though there are also opportunities available to the community. In the lobby, the Visual Arts gallery is open for the public to view the artworks created by Visual Arts students. There is also a blackbox theatre which can be used by the community or for Brock's Dramatic Arts productions where tickets are sold to those who wish to see the show There are also workshops and other events that are open for the public to participate in. Some are hosted by the university while some are done in collaboration with other organizations, such as the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre, which is located next door.
Historical Attributes
The original structure was the Canadian Hair Cloth Factory, which was built in 1888. This building once sat next to the first Welland canal before subsequent canals were built and the canal was converted into part of Highway 406. Originally, there were hydro turbines in the basement of the factory which generated the first electricity supply for the town. The building was used as a factory for 125 years and they fabricated things such as coat liners, parachute silks and suits. Many of the architectural elements were maintained in the building as well.
In 2015, the construction was completed to be the building that it is today. Ever since, it has played a vital role in the revitalization of downtown St. Catharines. It is also important to note that the creation of this school would not have been possible without the generosity of Marilyn I. Walker, a local fibre artist.

#2931 - 2016 Day 9: I commented on Graham's mindmap image the other day and felt I should share this one of mine, which sits beside my desk alongside another within easy glance. It depicts a concept I put together fifteen years ago for my coaching work. Note there is no specific area in which to coach, just a framework in which to understand motivations, sources, outcomes and types of intervention, and probably some core values.
Interestingly, about one third of it is in regular practice with more being built. It regularly informs me, whether I'm working with sports or photography or business or personal coaching. And with one or two small areas of contention, it still holds good in my mind, both for me and a model for my clients.

I have been working on a mindMap that illustrates the kinds of activities, research and technologies that me and my co-workers do in our everyday consulting practice. While I realize that this is somewhat specific to our company and the work that we do I thought it would be interesting to get feedback on it. I hope to refine this as we develop the practice.

Why is it that the beginning of the year always feels electrical with the excitement of *this year* being the one where you achieve all of your most important goals? Like most people, starting on New Year's, I spend time thinking about my goals, write many of them down, and start taking action. While I am happy with the progress I've made in the past, I've had the feeling that many of my goals seem to lose momentum after a few months. Starting a couple months ago I began researching how I could effectively be reminded about my goals on a daily basis, but not be overwhelmed by tons of information or underwhelmed by boring goals written on a piece of paper.

I was on WNPR's "Where We Live" last night, and to prepare for it I made a little mind map of what I might want to talk about. The show's producer sent me some questions, and I just went crazy.
Of course, with four guests and 45 minutes, I didn't cover nearly as much as I would have liked, but I can imagine that I was so scintillating and intelligent that they'll invite me back on for a solo gig.
