The tour guide couldn't be sure if these were two teenagers or a mother and a calf. This was the second batch of whales we saw today.
From Surry Dam on August 26, 2015, our group was treated to good views of over 432 migrating Common Nighthawks (most of which were, curiously, heading NORTH) as well as a family of Bald Eagles, a Northern Harrier, and a Common Loon.

The fall migration of Monarch Butterflies came through in mid-September. I had just enough time to get a few shots before they were gone. Sadly, these were the only Monarchs I saw all summer.
This project is the getting through process of the young people who are individuals by integrating their traditional arts to the major society and make their cultures embrace with the society without being isolated.
Fun with Lights. Photo was taken whilst in the car the green lights are direction lane arrows the bottom red lights and white are on coming and out going traffic. The top lizards are street lights.
DH and I have a view of these beautiful holly trees from our lanai and anxiously await the day when the migrating robins gobble up those berries--within 24 hours they're all gone!!!!
These were definitely pelicans but whether or not they were migrating I don't know. All day we saw a whole crap load of them flying north. They may have just been flying in a large circle but I couldn't tell.
